I simply can't wait. Holy hell.. this looks amazing.

Who the fuck is the old guy on the right? W/ SC on his costume?

I LOVE this show. But Grodd seems really dumb. Hope they prove me wrong.

The "SC" stood for "Senior Citizen."

Grodd was great but too much Iris bitching. A slower episode than we have seen lately. Mostly setup for the finale.

Holy shit Grodd was BAD ASS.

Ten minutes into Iris knowing about Barry I was ready for a Smallville concussion reset. However, it worked out in the end, I like her being Barry's emotional center. Well played on the writers' part.

Loved Cisco's movie nods in this one, especially ROUS and Jurassic Park.

Love the show, but I just didn't think Grodd worked.

I thought this was the best episode of the season. Grodd was bad ass. He was scary, intimidating and looked great. Reverse Flash is obviously great as always. He's taking his spot as one of the all time great TV villains.

Iris is, Iris. Not much more to say about her. But after some of her gripping was over she wasn't as annoying.

Iris has to go. How she reacted to the situation is exactly the opposite of how Lois addressed the situation on Smallville, and why Lois and Clark mean something. Iris and Barry just don't have the same resonance.

For comic readers, I assume they aren't brother/sister?

Good to see the General is still around.

Wouldn't be surprised if Eddie is going to be a villain in season 2.

I thought seeing Grodd was awesome, they kept his mental powers and everything. I could see a lot of the non-comic book readers rolling their eyes at a character like Grodd but it was pure heaven for me. They even constructed a semi-plausible fight between the Flash and Grodd, something this show has had trouble doing in the past for some other meta-human (meta-ape?) battles.

For a few seconds I really thought they were going to have Grodd force Joe to commit suicide. I didn't want to see it happen but that would have been a brutal shock to the audience after the Wells' revelation from last episode. That is the kind of move you could pull off if the CW didn't care about this show running more than a couple of years.

I think Iris acted pretty much like I expected. Barry and everyone else in her life kept Iris in the dark for the entire past year, even her boyfriend she is supposed to marry soon.

They can't kill Joe. He's a solid character. It's not like Pa Kent on Smallville reciting the same mantra every episode.

I still think it would be a bit hard to stop a punch going several hundred miles per hour.

He isn't a normal gorilla. He has some kind of super strength going on along with his mental powers.

I know a bit about him from the comics. He would have to be quite a bit stronger however comic type shows do what they can at times, nothing is going to be perfect and Flash so far tires to make as much sense as they can for a comic show. (Love this show)

Pretty cool episode. The special FX to create Grodd were really well done for a TV budget. He was quite intimidating. But yes, most of this episode was set up.

The Scarlet Cyclone, aka Retired Man -- a character made up for this terrible, terrible, terrible show.

Eddie is very handsome. I wonder if Barry will go back in time to save his mom and change the entire time line - one where Joe doesn't raise him, Thane doesn't kill Wells and so on and so on...

If that happens he will never be the Flash and won't stop Crisis; at least according to this version. Reason I thought Wells was going to swap with Eddie was because of all the shit he was saying how Eddie was worthless in his family history.
