Most networks like VH1 are pretty heavily invested in their scripted entertainment. It doesn't make financial sense to cancel a show after one year unless it absolutely tanks.

Yaaaaaaa! It's a light, fluffy show, but I like it!

Very happy about the renewal. This was one of my favorite new shows of the winter season. I always watched it immediately the night it aired, which is saying something (most shows sit on my DVR until I get to them).

VH1 changed their minds unfortunately.


It wouldn't surprise me also if they cancel Hit the Floor after it's upcoming season in 2016, which will have been delayed for over a year.

Reading between the lines of that article and VH1's statements, they figured they could find cheaper reality fare to earn Hindsight's ratings. VH1 has also changed its demographic profile over the years, which Hindsight never fit.

Kind of a shame, because Hindsight was a good show and would have done very well on several other networks.

I agree with you, on Hit The Floor. The delay until 2016 is a bad move.

This premise sounds familiar - is this show a remake? I remember a canadian show with a similiar plot line (time travel to make the right choice the first time) but I cannot recall the title. bummer it was cancelled, this is the first I'm hearing of it and it sounded fun.

The lesbian episode was hot.

For people that saved it on their DVRs, it's worth watching as a standalone season. The finale kind of pushed the reset button, so the theoretical season two would have been vastly different anyway.

I loved this show. I was devastated when it was renewed for season 2, but they then decided not to shoot it.
