Never saw it. To be fair to her, I haven't seen much of her movie work and nothing recent with the exception of Horrible Bosses. Office Space, Leprechaun... I'm sure there a couple others.

I have heard she is very good in Cake.

Based on the nominations she's getting for lesser awards (like the Golden Globes), she has a strong chance of becoming an Oscar Nominee for Cake later this year.

I used to think Lisa Kudrow was the best actor in the cast, but I think it had more to do with her being perfect at playing Phoebe (and Ursula) than having much range. Aniston has proven to have more range in the various roles she has played since Friends.

Just for S&Gs, I looked up the cast's history at the Emmy awards during the show's run. Kudrow got the most nominations: 6 times out of 10 seasons, winning once. Aniston also won once out of 5 nominations. LeBlanc (3 noms), Perry (1 nom) and Schwimmer (1 nom) never won.

And poor Courtney Cox... no nominations.

Re: Friends Viewing Club 2015

I just saw the episode where Rachel cheated on Mindy with Barry. After having sex in the dentist chair, Rachel says something like "this little sink sure came in handy." I'm assuming that means to rinse her mouth out afterward a blow job. There are a surprising number of "mature" moments like that in this first season, especially for something I think was considered pretty family-friendly at the time.

Another one that struck me was when Chandler accidentally saw Rachel's boobs so the guys said she had to see Chandler's penis - she replied "You know, tit for tat". I couldn't believe they allowed that one either.

Another random observation: they were watching an episode of "Family Matters" at one point, which was an ABC show. I'm kind of shocked that NBC allowed that.

I am planning on watching a season per month, I am 15 episodes into Season 1. The pilot was almost painful to watch with the heavy laugh track but it picked up at episode 2 and hasn't slowed down.

At this point I see Lisa Kudrow as being the perfect actress for Phoebe (as noted by Mr. Flix), but with Jennifer Aniston and Schwimmer as the two strongest actors.
