We can thank THE WALKING DEAD and GAME OF THRONES for this new TV trend of killing off your main characters and thinking you're giving viewers what they want. The only recent show where a character's death actually made sense to the story that came before it was

I'm hoping my IQ rebounds after getting dumber by the episode. Terrible finale, horrible season. I finish what I start, but seriously good riddance!

Agree with the consensus: awful ending to an awful season. Aside from Eric and Pam (and even then, having Pam get captured three separate times? Are you fucking kidding me?) I can't think of a single storyline that was handled even somewhat competently this season. Good riddance.
