I thought Michelle was talking to her Mother not her daughter.

Re: Bachelor in Paradise
If you watched every other episode, you're doing yourself a disservice. I've skipped some seasons, and I only started watching with Ali's season, but I've never heard conversations like this on this franchise. I mean, Michelle basically said... "Guys with big muscles tend to have small [bleep]s. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it's huge, like the hulk." But there's simply no way I can do the conversation justice. I kid you not that I looked at my wife at least 3 times. I immediately felt conflicted in that I'm glad Michelle has found someone, but that means we don't get to see her on these shows anymore (our loss). She's been comic gold every season she's been on.
Michelle is a car wreck. A gorgeous one but a car wreck just the same. I admit my wife and I did look at each other during her out of nowhere penis comment and then her "being sore" comment. Cody got to mark stuff off his bucket list? I asked my wife if she thought he got anal last night on their first fuck. It sure sounded like that.
I always wonder if these people go back and watch themselves and still can't understand why they are single. They all seem very self-unaware.
I thought the proposal seemed like the best way to get the producers to pony up for the cost of a ring.

Re: Bachelor in Paradise
She may as well have been for the way that 9 year old sounded. But no...
Michelle: "You know, this isn't my life. This isn't the way that I navigate my life. Like I have... a daughter. And I have other responsibilities. So, I really want to just connect with her and hear her voice as I'm trying to contemplate this huge decision."
Voice on phone: "Hello?"
Michelle: "Brie?" (short for Brielle, her daughter)
{ blah blah blah }
Michelle: "Just hearing her voice makes me feel more whole, and makes me just feel at ease. And reminds me of, like, why I'm here."
{ blah blah blah }
Michelle: "I love you baby. I miss you so much."
She's talking about her partner in crime... her daughter.

So, any word from Robert why he went all chaste on Sarah?

Michelle: "Brielle's Right. The only thing that matters is that he is good to me."
OK, I've done what I can. If it's still not clear, I'm crying uncle.

I was never much interested in the Robert/Sarah relationship anyway. It was far more fascinating watching Michelle have a guy who was probably 90% of what she wanted (a good guy, loyal, loving, dedicated, communicative) keep pushing him away because he didn't fit the package she expected him to come in. Rarely do people really step outside their comfort zone like that and have an honest talk with the mirror, so I give her credit for that. As for getting life advice from a 9-year-old, I'm going to have to assume that's either really edited, or it's a single mom thing I'm just not going to understand.

There's been some talk here about Sarah Herron so I thought I'd share this...
Sarah Herron's Parade BiP Blog
and
More at the link.
Sarah Herron's Parade BiP Blog
Before I left Paradise that day, Michelle consoled me. She said, “If Robert really cares for you and is falling in love like he says he is, he will come after you in L.A. You live too close not to make it work if it’s meant to be.” I felt comforted by this thought and trusted in her. Nevertheless, I left Paradise in shambles and completely unsure of the decision I made. I cried for days and even attempted to see him in our hotel rooms after we left. I apologized profusely and pleaded for Robert to understand that I got carried away. I confessed that I had put too much pressure on the development of our relationship and inappropriately compared it to Cody and Michelle’s and Marcus and Lacy’s. He calmed me and said we’d figure it out back in L.A. Shortly after, Robert and I met for dinner in Santa Monica. At first, it felt like home—it was comforting to see him, but within a few minutes I could tell it was ruined. We weren’t “Sarah and Robert” (otherwise known as “Sarob”).
I don’t have answers and I don’t have an explanation. I don’t know why Robert didn’t want more with me in the Fantasy Suite, and I don’t know why he sleeps in his jeans. I can only chalk it up to Robert’s true disinterest in me—because I have yet to be proven wrong.

Re: Bachelor in Paradise
I would imagine some of the other couples will explore their relationships in the real world
Sarah was stupid in that she didnt acknowledge that some relationships move faster than others. Not many are like lacey and marcus and go from nothing to wedding in a few weeks.
Chris and Elise broke up after 2 weeks, lol, Chris the player got what he wanted then dumped the clingy psycho
Robert isn't gonna find it hard to get a date in the real world, none of the guys are, they can just waltze into a trendy nightclub/bar and get 20 numbers from model like women easily.
I know they were on the bachelorette before, but this show really gave them another level of individual attention

Source? I mean, if you know someone who works on the show, that's one thing, but if you heard it from the guy at the local gas station, that's another. It's obviously "scripted" in the sense that they ask everyone who they'd like to see on the show, and try to get those people, and they have some people in the beginning and some coming later. And then, there's the ever present producers (which we've seen more in this show than any other) who make suggestions, etc. Chris Harrison is on record as saying that he counseled Michelle to give her relationship with Cody a chance. Of course we never actually saw that on TV.
Well, that's where my conflict comes in. For entertainment, I wouldn't mind that in the slightest. But then you have to remember... that means her relationship failed after she's introduced the guy to her daughter and he moved to be with her. That not something I can wish for. At the end of the day, no matter how much the producers push, prod, edit, and manipulate, there are real people and real relationships involved.
WetPaint -- Michelle Money's 9-year-old daughter Brielle
Perhaps it's nothing her daughter hasn't heard before. Some parents are like that. For instance, I've seen parents let 8 year old kids watch R-rated movies with nary a blink. Nudity. Sex. Violence. Language. The whole shebang. They were otherwise decent people and decent parents. It either didn't occur to them or they didn't believe that sheltering kids is necessary.

Now I know what you are thinking...that is every show like this. But this season seems even more permeated with it than ever.
Oh yeah, and their after show for this is unwatchable. It is just plain awful.
I haven't watched The Bachelor or Bachelorette in many seasons so I have nothing to compare it to. I assume the producers have been doing the same stuff with those shows as well but I tend to like a lot of people (male and female) tossed together instead of a bunch of woman and one man or bunch of men and one woman.
My favorite trashy show over the last month has been the new season of Dating Naked. They changed the format for this season and the two people who are the main "characters" are both genuinely likable and actually seem to have a lot of integrity based on the choices they have been making.
I highly recommend it if you like trashy dating shows like I do.

The new format for Dating Naked has worked far, far better. Though like always it comes down to casting. I'm not sure the season would have been nearly as entertaining if Fallon hadn't been named a keeper.

Re: Bachelor in Paradise
having the contestants on the after show only able to talk about things up to that episode just seems weird
they need to do one big afterparty at the very end like they did with Jersey/Geordie shore/party down south
Talking before the show should mean instant kicking off but the producers want the drama
all of the girls are pretty good looking but none are like Gia hot
Ashley (disney princess) is probably the best looking girl lookswise but her excessive crying makes her not that appealing long term
Anyway, still a good show to watch with your girl and a good show to have on in the background whilst doing other stuff on your laptop/tablet

I think Jared is too nice of a guy and doesn't do it.
Plus, could he look at least a little interested in her? He seems to be just hanging out and tolerating for a 10 week (or however long it is) vacation.

Re: Bachelor in Paradise
Which is why most people like him, as opposed to the other type of guy. I know I do. He just seems a really decent human being, and that's rare enough that I appreciate it when I see it.
Keep in mind the show is heavily edited to show what they want to show. Having watched the show, Ashley has commented that there were a lot of things that didn't go the way they were depicted. Many other past participants on the "Bachelor" franchise have commented similarly. Specifically as it relates to Ashley, she was upset they didn't show Jared's response to her letter and didn't show his comments of at least tepid interest/affection, instead making it as if she was constantly running after him and he was constantly looking the other direction. She even said the producers fed her the lines regarding her virginity and the whole fantasy suite thing.
