I don't think advertisers pay much attention to DVR viewers. What the Live+3 ratings are good for is an indication of a show's ultimate fanbase, which is more important for streaming/home video sales. So the production studio may cut licensing fees to keep a show on the air if they can recoup that money on the back end.

I stopped watching around season 2. Not because I didn't like it. Mainly due to lack of time. I like the 2 main actors Teri Polo and Sherri Saum as the lesbian parents.

I'm liking the development of the characters on this show. The only one I don't get is James Olsen. He was always more like the Winn Schott character. I realize they can't have 2 dorks plus Kara pretending to dork or it would be too much dorkiness. He just comes off as a cold personality instead of warm and charming.

Major Crimes on TNT has been unofficially renewed for a 5th season.

Tony Denison (Flynn) announced it last week. The press and TNT hasn't officially announced it. Probably due to the current season still airing and having 23 episodes.

Not looking good for Bones coming back for a 12th season.

One of the EPs and both David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel are suing FOX saying they were cheated out of millions in profits from the show. They are basically accusing them of shady accounting.

I haven't seen all of season 2 yet while 3 is piling up on the DVR. Hopefully will get caught up on 2 at least over the Christmas Holiday. I usually take a few days off and get caught up around the house. Most of my customers are taking "use it or lose it" vacation anyway.

I enjoy the show, but it's no big loss. I hope Laura Vandervoort winds up in something higher profile. She's too hot to waste on small shows like this!

Agree. Her and Erica Durance (also on another Canadian show) are wasted doing these low profile Canadian dramas.

My guess is that they earn more as a series lead on a small Canadian show than they could as a supporting cast member on American network television.

The opportunities get fewer and fewer for actresses as they near 30.
