I REALLY enjoy this show, but if the activity in this thread is any indication, it won't be around too long.
I felt this episode was mostly filler (by the nature of the plot, how could it not?). But it definitely showed the lengths some of these characters will go to fueled by their egos.

I like this show too; well-written, acted, etc. I really like the music choices they have Cameron listening to. But yeah, even if it had good ratings, I don't see how this could be more than a season or two.

So in the last episode, the IBM guy said that Joe wouldn't like it in Texas once people found out "what you really are." In this episode, he has sex with another man. So that makes him bi, since he also has sex with Cameron.
We also know he lied about his scars. I'm thinking maybe some kids really did chase him off a roof, but they did so because of his sexuality, not because he was a nerd.

Good to see Cameron really get in the game. Small amount that it was I enjoyed the stuff with her and the code monkeys. And I love that John got caught up playing Adventure.
Just figured out that Scoot McNairy and Kerry Bishe also played husband and wife in Argo.

This was actually a pretty good episode, but the fact that nobody is posting on it tells me nobody is watching it.

The boss calling the wife at home was a bit out of left field I thought. Unless I missed something prior.

I'm running about a week behind on the episodes, so I just watched this yesterday.
So it was Joe's boss that sicced the cops on him, right?

I tried to get into this, but something about that guy Joe made we want to punch him right in the face.

I thought that was good episode, as this show isn't really that bad. I think they have done a good job with the characters, and there is still alot of fleshing out to do with Joe and Cameron. I just don't know how long the story can go for multiple seasons, and that is why I don't think this show will last very long.

I really like this show, but I just don't know how far they can go with this storyline for multiple seasons? Looks like nobody is watching judging by the lack of comments this week.

I like the show but keep expecting Joe to chop some girl up with an axe while listening to Huey Lewis and the News.

Not a lot to comment on, but a decent episode this week. Good to see Joe acknowledge Cameron is on to something w/her innovation. The guy selling the Cabbage Patch in the parking lot was so obvious...Gordon's smarter than that. Also, I noticed this ep was scripted by Zach Whedon.

Halt and Catch Fire (AMC) -- Season 1 Thread

Tonight is episode 7 of 10
A visitor from Joe's past threatens his newfound connection with Cameron. Meanwhile, with Donna out of town, the toll of Gordon's work catches up with him.
With the premieres of a few higher profile shows this week, I decided it isn't worth it to continue with weekly threads. Seems like the majority here isn't watching and there is already alot on Sunday nights anyways. For anyone who is continuing to watch for the rest of the season, here's your thread. Enjoy!!
