The only thing you didn't know was Littlefinger's involvement, which was revealed in the next episode.
We also didn't know that Margaery wasn't in on it until tonights episode, and she now know's of her mother's involvement. I don't think they overly explained it.

So you guys just now recognized Burn Gorman (the guy from Torchwood) on the show? Did you somehow miss him when he played the same character last season on Game of Thrones?

He's also in The Dark Knight Rises and is currently on AMC's Turn.

Loved the ending and the whole "origin" of the white walkers. It was neat.

I'm saying that if you thought it was overly explained, that it might seem that way because we (as the audience) are privy to what both conspirators admitted.

I think that was more of the origin of the "Whites," the frozen zombie horde, which seem to be controlled by the Whitewalkers.

I saw it because I read the books and I was looking for it, but none of my friends picked up on it. You have to freeze frame to notice that one of the stones is missing. I don't think many people noticed anything shady with the necklace, I'm very surprised that you picked up on it.

Given the distance traveled to somewhere in the Land of Always Winter and the "ceremony" involved I imagine this was about the origin of the Others/White Walkers and not wights which are reanimated corpses.

Hbo go doesn't show the previously on piece.

It's there under "Extras" on HBO GO. They also have a short "inside this ep" feature and the Next ON clip... It's the first place I go after watching the current ep.

I just recognized him this time as well. I'd have to go back and watch the episode(s) he was in last season but he certainly didn't leave an impression on me if I didn't recall him being there.

I think that, what I recall from last season, is that there weren't many direct shots of him? Yesterday's episode had him shown prominently in the scenes at Crasters....

I recognized him because I had watched Pacific Rim last week. But it took a minute because there was something different about him in GoT.

I assumed Burn Gorman played Tucker from There's Something About Mary.

He's the guy who called Craster "a bastard. A daughter fucking, wildling bastard." I thought he was pretty memorable for only having one minute of screen time.

I'm sure getting an accusation of being full of shit from a random guy on the internet means nothing to Neil, but yeah...put me in the camp that seriously doubts it. It was painfully clear how it happened when that four panel reddit image was circulated which circled the missing stone on the necklace, etc, surely put together by a book reader.

Looks like HBO deleted the part of their episode description where they called out the Night's King at the end.

The cranial horns appear to be a crown -- unless they had to use what heads they had lying around.

The spoiler thread has a screenshot from the HBO recap that reveals that the final scene was Book 6 or 7 territory. They are passing GRRM
