I finally got caught up and watched the back four...wow, amazing show, it took several eps to get going, but it did not disappoint. I am definitely in for season two.

Cohle's always had hallucinations, he delves into it and we see another one in episode 2.

I really enjoyed the season, I don't think it's the greatest thing ever as some viewers believe, but I easily see myself revisiting the show in the future. Here's an old video perhaps some of you may have missed:

Yeah, just revisited this season after the underwhelming Night Country. Season One definitely holds up, and my disappointment with the last episode has softened. I'm still not a big fan of the "green painted ears" revelation leading to the final act (not to mention the surviving of mortal wounds), but I'm able to better appreciate the character-based wrap-up. It's still an all-timer.

(And Lost is still an all-time insulting wank job.)
