I love the casting of Levi. Hopefully this continuation has a little more humor to it. The original took itself way too seriously (aside from hiro, but he went the serious route eventually)

I'm on board for Avengers style humor ("Puny God"), but I could do without the humor of, say, The Greatest American Hero, or even No Ordinary Family. I like my superhero entertainment with some depth. For instance, in The Dark Knight
that's (dark) humor that didn't take away from the substance of the movie. For me, the pilot episode of the original Heroes run was pretty much perfect (or at least that's my memory).

HRG was always good for a good one liner or two per episode. I would expect that to continue.

Jimmy Jean-Louis Returns for NBC’s ‘Heroes Reborn’
April 7, 2015 | 04:15PM PT Whitney Friedlander
“Heroes Reborn” has added another familiar name to its cast list.
Jimmy Jean-Louis, who played the memory-taking The Haitian on the NBC drama “Heroes,” will be returning to the network’s upcoming follow-up series, Variety has confirmed.
He’s the third member of the original cast to join “Heroes Reborn.” NBC has already announced that Jack Coleman (who played the suspicious, bespectacled Noah Bennett) and Masi Oka (who played space-time manipulator Hiro Nakamura) are returning to the cast that also includes newcomers like “Chuck” star Zachary Levi.
The 13-episode event series premieres this fall. Creator Tim Kring is exec producing along with James Middleton and Peter Elkoff. The show is produced by Imperative Entertainment, in association with Universal Television.
Deadline Hollywood first broke the news of the casting.

I think Tim Kring has his finger on the pulse of what the fans really initially loved about Heroes when he made the call to bring Mohinder back.
Maybe he can fluctuate between having powers and not having powers again. Or being good or bad (he was bad for awhile, right?)
Everyone loved Mohinder.

Cool trailer.
With The Flash, Daredevil, Arrow and soon to be Supergirl & Legends of Tomorrow just killing it on the action and special effects front, Heroes will absolutely fail if they try the half assed shit from the original run.

Nice, Chuck is a Heroes killer. ![Wink](/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Lots of familiar faces in that trailer. Couldn't stand Mohinder. Hopefully his presence is minimal.
