UGH!

Enjoyed season one. Dropped the series about halfway through season 3. Hiro losing his powers is what did it. I wanted to see a show about super heroes, and they thought that storyline was a good idea :thmbsdwn:

Now I have a deep hatred for the show. Not sure why, but everytime someone mentions Heroes, I spout profanities.

Has there ever been a dip in quality transpire so fast before? It took Lost 5 seasons before it turned to shit, Heroes didn't even make to season two.

I gave season 2 a pass because of the writer's strike, but season 3 was pure garbage.

Are Byron Cherry and Christopher Mayer still alive? I want a Coy and Vance Duke miniseries.

I liked Season 1 but the rest of the seasons were bad. Are any of the originals actors coming back?

Press release said maybe. It would depend on their availability.

Ahh, Heroes, it was fun when it was good. I don't know if I can get back into it.

I doubt Heroes will be able to compete with Gotham, Shield, Arrow, Flash...

Aside from HRG and Syler, I hated all the other Heroes.

I did hear NBC just brought back Leno!!

Today on this forum I posted about the Veronica Mars MOVIE and a 5th season of a Heroes. WTF is going on?

You guys are being way too hard. Based on his track record I'm sure Kring has a lot of great new ideas. -rolleyes-

so whats next then?

Re: NBC renews Heroes for 5th season coming in 2015 - Heroes Reborn

I recall many in this forum were hugely disappointed by the season 1 finale.

But, I believe what really killed this show was the WGA strike of 2007. They filmed 11 episodes and then the show was off the air for almost 9 months. It never recovered any momentum that it once had. Actually a lot of shows that year that were once getting great ratings took major hits because the strike.

I still remember they did a huge promotional campaign for season 3 after the strike to try to get people interested again, but I recall that season was a disaster creatively.

I'm glad to see this. Yes, the show ran into some MAJOR issues and hopefully these series will be more refined.

Re: NBC renews Heroes for 5th season coming in 2015 - Heroes Reborn

No question the writer's strike hurt season two. But it's not like season 2 was heading in some awesome direction nor was it the last season of the show. Kring still had a couple other seasons to really screw up the show's legacy.

Hey maybe they can use the new show to finally explain why Peter just forgot he left Caitlyn in that dystopian future.

It was all mediocre but kept watching hoping it would get better. Maybe this will be better.

Assuming they decide to keep some of the original cast, does this secretly mean that Nashville is cancelled?
