Wait, in that trailer someone is shooting people with powers? Well, that could go REALLY wrong if depending on their powers.

The trailer made it seem like people with power were being hunted down and massacred around the world so the few people with powers left are scarce and in hiding.

as long as Hiro isn't heavily featured in this, I'm fine with it. Hopefully they learned from their mistakes.

He's only a guest star and had to get approval from CBS to be able to work on this. I doubt his role is really big since he's double dipping with H50.

How to save a dead cheerleader before Thursday?

Just needed some advice. The first season of Heroes was one of the best shows I remember in the past 10 years, but, as Sheldon Cooper put it, when talking about canceled shows, it got so bad that I didn't care when it was canceled.

I am, however, looking forward to the upcoming mini series on 9/24. Anyone else plan to watch any of Season 4 to get up to speed?

The only thing that made I really enjoyed about Season 4 was Robert Knepper, but, even though I loved him in Prison Break, I never finished watching the last 10 episodes.

If I watch the final 2-3 episodes of Season 4, will it make much of a difference?

Expecting viewers to familiarize themselves with old episodes before watching the new ones would be an absolutely stupid idea on their part. So there you go.

I guess I was one of the rare ones that actually watched the entire series.

His question was basically if the last bit is needed to understand Reborn; considering the first episode isn't out, there is no way to answer such a question. I can't say you definitely need to watch season 4 to understand Reborn, if I don't know anything about how Reborn is. I don't know if they made it with the intention of old fans watching it only or if they're doing something fresh in hopes of getting new fans. The latter would be more ideal for them. It could be safe to assume people won't have to have seen any of the previous Heroes to be able to dive into Reborn; but again, no one can really answer that at this point.

My guess is it will be entirely new with some winking references to the original for fans to enjoy. I say this with authority because I watched the first season of the original series.

New story arc and new characters. I think you're safe watching this on Thursday without needing to go back.

They're marketing this as an 'event mini-series'. Is that just 13 and done, or will they renew if the ratings are good enough?

If it does well, then of course they'll consider another season. Tim Kring isn't going to say no to staying employed.

I'd recommend watching the prequel webisodes "Heroes Reborn: Dark Matters". All together it's the length of a regular episode and can be found on TV via NBC OnDemand or...

Just saw a promo and apparently one of the major characters from the original series is being killed off.

Spoiler:

Claire Bennett aka The Cheerleader

The promo shows HRG with her body in the morgue
