I thought this was pretty cool:

House of Cards (The Walking Dead Intro) from Drew Geraci (District 7 Media) on Vimeo.

These comments might help me persuade my wife that we should stay in on V-Day and watch HoC.

Just so everyone is on the same page... are we using Spoiler tags?

We should, given that all episodes are released at once. And anybody making a post should reference the episode they are talking about to avoid confusion.

For example...

Episode 1:

Spoiler:
OMGWTFBBQ

I've gone ahead and edited some posts above mine.

Wouldn't it be easier to have a separate thread for each episode?

Well, we tried that last year and it was quite disjointed.

No. One thread is fine. As previous poster have said, it was disorganized and didn't work well. But I just don't want people coming in here to discuss Episode 1 and see things for Episode 6. So please use spoiler tags.

I edited the OP.

Re: House of Cards (Netflix) -- Season 2 Discussion Thread -- Available 2/14/14

Hopefully we can make this thread work.

I know that most people will watch more than episode at once, so use one spoiler for each episode.

I just watched the first episodes. And have to wait until tonight to continue.

My comments below:

Episode 1
Spoiler:

Wow! That's some balls. And great that they could keep the secret about her death. That was a big fucking surprise. I really was expecting a long season of her harassing Underwood.
I read a "review" of the season in Vulture, really hard to review this without spoilers I guess. But basically they said that the season is great. Over the top in some parts, but you have to love it.

I had a hard time trying to remember some characters from last season. I binge watched the first season and never watched it again. But by the end of the episode I remembered almost everything.

Episode 2:
Spoiler:

After the first episode I had to watch the next one. I didn't feel the same urge after watching this, but it was great too. I like the new characters. But I'm worried about what they can do with that reporter. Hopefully they won't screw that.

Re: House of Cards (Netflix) -- Season 2 Discussion Thread -- Available 2/14/14

Episode 1 - or "Chapter 14"
Spoiler:
I thought it was a little odd that Frank Underwood wanted his text message and contact history removed from the phone before he
Spoiler:
murdered Zoe.
I'd think that even if cameras didn't catch what happened, they'd still have footage of someone walking away covering their face. If cops suspect foul play, looking at digital footprints would be high on their list of priorities.

"Oh, look at this seconds before
Spoiler:
she was thrown in front of a train,
she deleted a bunch of texts from Frank Underwood!"

Re: House of Cards (Netflix) -- Season 2 Discussion Thread -- Available 2/14/14

Good first episode.

Spoiler:
Loved Frank waiting until the end to break the fourth wall and then the camera tilts down to his F-U cuff links. Well played. I don't really know how I feel about killing Zoe. Frank seemed a little too trusting that she deleted his contact and texts. However, he did use an untraceable phone to contact her so he shouldn't have any problems. Maybe the phone comes into play, otherwise, I would have preferred that he took the phone from her before he threw her in front of the subway train.

Loved the first episode but in the second episode
Spoiler:
The bit with the reporter using the "secret internet" to get help to hack the phone is fucking retarded. They could of done this without going all Illuminati on us.

Episode 1

Spoiler:
Took me a little while to get involved in the storyline. I remembered enough to know it picked up right where S1 left off, but the subplots weren't all fresh in my mind. Took a while to adjust. I did like the final act and the 'FU' moment at the end.

Episode 1

Spoiler:
Holy shit indeed. Between setting Zoe up and her murder to Claire totally fucking over Gillian in a dry salami way, it's going to be a balls out season. Kate Mara looked yummy, too. I guess the Slugline guy will be looking for Rachel to avenge Zoe. I liked the little things, like Frank's jump when he was told the story of quick killing the pig and how that related to Zoe.

I'm on episode 6 and it has found its pace. Not that it didn't start off all hardcore and shit. It's coasting right along and I will be finishing it up all today.

Jesus, you actually want to finish all 13 hours in less than 24 hours? You must really wanted to see this soooo bad.

When I do get to season 2, I'm going to pace myself.
