That was the only line that made me laugh in the whole show.

Really? I actually laughed for a while after Stewie drank the soda (even if it was already spoiled in the promos): "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Oh. Now I'm sad."

Which plot hole? I must've missed that part, and I think I deleted it already.

I don't know about this being a "MASSIVE" plot hole.

The reason that Gandalf wanted this set of unremarkable Hobbits to be the primary ring-bearers was that they would be easily under-estimated and dismissed by Sauron. The whole point of the plan was that they wouldn't be noticed which made the stealthy approach by Frodo & Sam into a heavily guarded Mordor a real possibility. If they were to go winging into Mordor for all to see -- kinda takes away the whole stealth thing. Gandalf might as well have done it himself.

Since you know so much Mr. Know-it-all, why did the Empire build the Death Star with that massive flaw not once but twice?

Because George Lucas is a retarded chimp compared to Tolkien.

I take that back. George Lucas is a retarded chimp. Period.

I was cracking up when Bruce (the massage therapist for Peter) walks into the room after Peter used the head rest as a toilet seat... his timing and volume of his signature "oh no!" had me rolling.

This was also the second time they referenced the clay molding scene from 'Ghost.'

Me too. I said almost the exact same thing the moment I saw it on the screen opening day. People around me looked at me like I had just crapped on a kitten.

Because the Federation union just doesn't care about quality anymore.

I don't see what is supposed to be funny about FG doing a scene from a movie/tv show, word for word and shot by shot, without adding anything to it. Remember when they did Bewitched and Darrin threw Holy Water on Endora and set her hair on fire? How about when they did Little House and Charles and Laura were tricking a blind Mary to trip and fall down etc? Or when the did Happy Days and Fonzie snapped his fingers to fix Howards impotence. FG was great when they did stuff like that. But latley all they do is copy lines and scenes exactly. I don't get it. This show has jumped the shark.

Redoing a scene directly isn't funny (much as * Movie has shown), and I didn't like the movie references in this episode. Actually, overall, this wasn't a very good episode.

I don't remember the giant birds at the beginning of the Rings trilogy. When/Where did they ride them?

One helped Gandalf escape from Orthanc.

it was still under construction in ROTJ so we can't say it had a flaw

Look, motherfucker. Many Bothans died to bring the Rebellion the information that brought that thing down.

Better be looking over your shoulder for Bothans, bitch. Oh, yeah.

Did I mention I'm getting a spinoff? - Cleveland. That was just great. It was funny but my mind was altered.

Family Guy -- "The Man With Two Brians" -- 11/09/08

"The Man with Two Brians"
Spoiler:
After watching Johnny Knoxville on "Jackass," Peter and the guys film their own shenanigans. When Brian gets hurt, the family worries that he's getting too old, so Peter brings home a new dog. Everything is great until the "new Brian" crosses the line and humps Stewie's favorite toy.

Originally Aired: November 09, 2008

Lateralus 11-09-08 05:52 AM

This looks like comedy gold!

Hopefully we've seen the last of the political shit.

I HATE YOU BEES! I HATE YOU BEES! I HATE YOU BEES! I HATE YOU BEES! I HATE YOU BEES! I HATE YOU BEES! I HATE YOU BEES! I HATE YOU BEES! I HATE YOU BEES!

Very funny episode. Even the Jackass stuff at the beginning was good, like Peter's broken spine.

Loved the new Brian, and the way he charmed the family
"I can't decide which of your hats I like better."
*GASP!*

And got a good laugh from the Carol Alt references.
"They just mentioned you again on that show, Family Man."
"Is that the one with the goldfish?"
"No, that's the other one, American Boy."

"I'M WATCHING YOU MAKE STOOL!"

MrX 11-10-08 01:13 AM

"Hey Dale, I notice your yard is getting a little high"

"Yeah, I used to have a guy for that; dick"

Good episode.
