Another crap FG episode, god this season sucks balls. Didn't laugh once.

Agreed. It is unreal how much the Dims want to move this country toward communism. Any nobody seems to care.

Well, I for one am glad to see the salad days of 1947-1958 are back again! :rolleyes:

Anyway, I wasn't big on this episode. It was weak, forced, chock full of unnecessary pop culture references, and yeah the McCain/Palin pin was obvious and unfunny

Meh. Time to cancel this show again.

Thought it was great. This season has been hit or miss, but I dug this one.

Yep, definitely one of the best of the season.

What was Peter's "you can hurt me if you want" parodying? Chris immediately laughed and said, "Movie references!"

Had to have been a mid-late 80's movie... I was trying to figure it out as well. And hey, they had another 'Back to the Future' reference! I love those.

Did you see "The Simpsons" episode preceding it? Uggh. That's far more worthy of cancellation...

"Planes, Trains, and Automobiles".

I also loved the pointing out of the MASSIVE hole in the plot of "The Lord of the Rings". 'Bout time!

I thought it was an ok ep. Also, I'm starting to better understand why people bitch about the Pop-references and how they won't stand up. This further understanding occurred when Stewie made the James Gandolfini joke.

The shower-curtain ring reference was to John Candy's character Del Griffith in Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Same with the "You want to hurt me?" speech. I was getting a kick out of that. I also liked Stewie working at McBurgerworld. And the use of the Home Alone music at the end when they all got back.

Overall an ok episode at best.

So-so episode for me.
I was wondering if "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" was getting a nod when Peter mentioned the shower curtain rings, then he knocked out the whole speech. Nice! :thumbsup:

I usually like this show(including newer episodes), but this was the second week in a row that I didn't laugh.:(

lol, wow this episode wasnt that great, it was kind of boring, hopefully they step up and make it like the 1st season, funny and stuff

I was so glad they did the Planes & Trains speech... especialy since Thanksgiving is coming up and they play this movie on cable

The best episode of the new season, and it was still only so/so. I only laughed a few times, and ya that was about it.

Fox needs to continue dumping there "animation domination" shows because they suck.

I know - they have had great success with shows such as Life on a Stick, Quintuplets, and War at Home. -rolleyes-

Ugh I feel asleep and I only woke up when Steve from American Dad was yelling at some stray cat!

the lost thing was funny
and peter talking about rubbing it out and becoming like a snow globe was nasty but funny

and peter and quagmire's fight

"Mommy, Daddy, Chris, Dog, Brian"

the Aqua Man scene and Stewie's reaction when he looked at Hustler were funny:lol:

That was the only line that made me laugh in the whole show.

Back to the Future is one of may favorite movies but Family guy goes back to that well way too many times.

I did like the Griffin's choice of The Rose as their song to sing on their roadtrip.
