I loved that episode. "He's a whole lot better than our old neighbours.... They were black." That was so wrong!

But what were they referencing when the episode suddenly turned into a movie? It all looked so familiar but I couldn't quite figure it out.

oh, plus she's a cartoon... it'll probably never happen... why even get my hopes up.

Yeah, Lois gives me the hots too! :hump:

Well, her and Diane Simmons.

I never thought I'd say this, but I actually enjoyed American Dad better than Family Guy this week.

Hmm...well, I've completely given up on this show. The handful of laughs in each episode wasn't worth the rest of the show's worth of jokes that fell flat on their face. But maybe I'll check this one out, since I did tape it.

Oh, and "Rock Lobster" fucking kills me everytime. Thanks to the poster that mentioned fgmma.com. I never knew about that site.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing! I'd give it to her in those pink panties :D

Ok I don't get why the "Rock Lobster" part is so funny. It's a song from the 80's right? How's that funny?

Big Boy Laroux 06-16-05 09:59 AM

to me, it's just so obscure it's funny. and it went on so long, i thought that was funny, too. that's definitely a FG trademark... beating soooooo many jokes into the ground. but it works for some reason.

That and the set up was for a poignant song dealing with love, loss, hope, etc. ("a song that kept me going when I had troubles"). Then Peter plays "Rock Lobster" which is just a really stupid song that doesn't deal with any of that. Not to mention Peter's Fred Schneider-esque inflections when he sang.

"Peter! How can you afford these things?" ...I loved the entire episode and will be saving it on my DVR until season 4 is released!

Nope. And to think it was the second time this week alone that pedophile humor made network TV. Almost spit out my drink Monday night when comedian Jim Norton made a few jokes to Hilary Duff.

As far as Family Guy goes, not the best episode but a few good chuckles in there, mostly thanks to Stewie.

I missed this. What show was it on, and what did he say?

He followed Hillary on the Tonight show...after doing a set of jokes about getting jerked off after a massage and banging transexual hookers, he sat on the couch...while talking to Jay about striking out with girls, he looks over at Hillary and says 'Hi' with the creepiest look on his face, Duff buried her face in her hands hysterical laughing and mortified.

Norton then couldnt concentrate talking to Jay, repeatedly looking at Duff then looking away with this defeated, miserable look on his face, until Jay said

"Jim, she's 17!"

Norton replied..."oh, ...too old"

Brought the house down.
