That was the best part! I nearly choked and I wasn't even drinking anything. And later, Peter: "I gotta go to the store to get more hotdogs, they keep disappearing."

You are misleading.

We watched about five minutes of the clips show. I think that the joke is that Seth deliberately assembled and broadcast a clips show that didn't have a funny moment in it, and then took money from Fox. Sort of a meta-joke, or performance art.

I've always thought that the clip of Peter, Stewie, Brian, and Chris sitting around puking after drinking the ipecac is one of the funniest things they've ever done. Especially when Brian asks Peter to hold his ears, and Peter pukes on the back of his head.

Brian is saying how dream sequences are a cheat to the audience since everything that happens is bullshit. Stewie says that he hopes the audience would enjoy the ride. He then says at least it didn't end like the Sopranos, cutting to black in mid sent... cut to black.

Eh, I knew it was going to be a dream sequence, at least they tried to freshen it up a bit.
Brian & Stewie did the same Sopranos gag in their song at the Emmys.
Funniest part was when American Dad trid to arrest Stewie, and he mistook him for Joe.
Or how Stewie killed Cleveland then went on the lam because he was worried about the huge publicity and police attention that a missing black man would get.

"That homicidal baby from the court case has gone missing."
"Ooooh noooooooo."
"I knooooooooooow."
I loved the fight scene at the end. And Stewie's confusion about Stan Smith's resemblance to Joe.

I've never scene Family Guy before. But for some reason I was compelled to watch this episode. If that fight scene is evident of what the show is about I'm gonna have to pick some of this up on DVD.

Stewie and Brian in the car had me cracking up.
(paraphrasing)
Stewie: "I shot when you yelled!"
Brian: "I yelled when you started shooting!"
Stewie: "You yelled. I'm watching you."
It was the most I laughted all night.

I agree. I was thinking the same exact thing.

I meant "laughed". Damn typos! Relax, we're talking about Family Guy on an internet message board, not writing our Graduate Theses.

I like Peter's movie lines at the end.
