It took me about a minute to figure out where that was from. Don't know why, since I saw the movie for the first time earlier this year.

Couldn't believe Gore Vidal agreed to the hot dog gag.

Does anyone have that line quoted from the show? I deleted it before I could write it down and can’t seem to find it in the mess of quotes from Philadelphia...

I thought that episode was pretty good over all... Poor snoopy

I didn't notice Meg was missing until I saw a photo of her hanging on the wall in the background.

The "Philadelphia" line was hilarious to me, and every time Peter mentioned "Papa Tom", I giggled like a little schoolgirl.

And I don't know why...

I've been waffling on giving up my XM for an iPod lately, but this pretty much sealed the deal. I like my Chill on 84.

I am really psyched to catch up on the last episode. I have had a crazy week, so I haven't been able to see it yet!! But it sounds hysterical!
A friend of mine did send me a link to the preview of the game, which looks even funnier than the show bc it's rated M so it's raunchier than what we usually see every week!!

"This message just in from the Electric Company; HEY YOU GUYS!"

Best episode in a long time!

I laughed so hard at the very end that I thought I was going to burst.

I loved the Electric Company reference, but the funniest part was Peter blowing rasberries at every mention of Meg's name.

Regarding the bit near the beginning, are there such things as roller skates anymore?

I thought Peter's cries of "Gattaca! Gattaca!" Outside the super store were great. '

I'm not one to pick on Family Guy, but the Wal-Mart commentary seemed like a watered-down version of what South Park did, and the tumbleweed joke was used in a similarly-themed Clerks: The Animated Series episode.

Still, some very funny bits.

Those manatees need to pick funnier balls.

For once the actual plot of the episode was better than the random "this is even worse than the time..." jokes.

Plus, hey, someone actually almost found Meg attractive. That's a a start!

Did they actually use the word fuck on this episode?

When the guy is driving the yellow humvee and is watching Madagascar. He says "Ha ha ha ha ha. Dude! Those animals are so fucking funny they make me wanna merge without looking!"

Or at least that is what I hear.

They bleeped the "fuck" out when I was watching.

Oh man, that Hummer scene was hilarious.

I should be watching the same channel as you, and it was definitely bleeped. This is all over the internet though

The more comments I read, the more I think everyone who saw the uncensored version downloaded it.

They did, it was definitely censored in the US. The clip floating around the net is from a rip of a Canadian broadcast (It has Canada's 14+ logo in the upper left at the beginning), and there they didn't censor the scene.

I like how they got a Captain Kangaroo reference in with Mr Moose, and also the "hit" on Yogi the bear.

Right next to United Skates of America was a run-down "Mex-Skate".

Reminded me of the new Jessica Simpson video.

It's tough to be sure, I think the music used in the scene is the key (it sounded vaguely familar so it probably came directly from the movie being referenced).

My best guess: Tank (1984) starring James Garner.

(However, the one part during the scene in which the guy hides in the toilet stall and is then crushed by the "Super Savings" sign is straight from Jurassic Park.)
