This was (to me, at least) easily the best episode since the show returned back in May.

Hilarious. One of the funnier things I've seen on television in a while.

redrum 11-06-05 08:31 PM

"So we're cool right?"

DJLinus 11-06-05 09:08 PM

Great episode. And I swear that I had almost the same conversation about East of Eden with my brother after he started reading it.

MasterCXtreme 11-06-05 09:09 PM

 The intro was amazing. Great episode, laughed the whole time.

Andalusia 11-06-05 09:13 PM

Funny episode. I dunno if it's just me, but this show actually got better after it was cancelled.

Slayer2005 11-06-05 09:18 PM

LMFAO! IMO, this was one of the best episodes they've ever done and hands down the best episode since they've returned.

MrX 11-06-05 09:28 PM

Great episode

Brian punching Stewie to get him to cry so he could leave the play was great.

Peter's rant where they bleeped what he was saying with the airhorn had merotfl

Snowmaker 11-06-05 09:47 PM

I lost it during the Police Squad opening when Stewie was going through the game Doom, but when the AT-AT came up, I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard!

Darq 11-06-05 10:21 PM

Best intro ever!

Michael Ballack 11-06-05 10:34 PM

Gotta love an episode that was one big f u to the fcc. I agree that we could have used it shortly after the Janet Jackson half a second breast shot heard around the world.

TheKing 11-06-05 11:07 PM

Awesome opening, although they missed the classic "In Color" gag that Police Squad had.

Cobra Commander!

Aislematt 11-06-05 11:19 PM

Great episode and one of the best since Family Guy returned. Was laughing throughout the entire episode, especially during the opening. The part with Doom was a great touch.

Big Boy Laroux 11-06-05 11:29 PM

I LIKE TO EAT RED CARPET!

Giggity...

skatefan20 11-06-05 11:29 PM

HILARIOUS!! Best episode of the season!!

Loved the bits with the origin of the Reese's candy and the Brady Bunch at the end!

HE Pennypacker 11-06-05 11:49 PM

This eppy was great. I was disappointed with many of the new episodes so far, but this one had me laughing throughout.

The Valeyard 11-07-05 12:07 AM

That was the BEST episode thus far this season (and possibly last season too). I haven't laughed that hard (and that many times) in awhile!

LorenzoL 11-07-05 03:55 AM

This was the best episode thus far from the Family Guy since it came back from its cancellation.

- Stewie and Osama sword fight mimicking the lightsaber battle from Yoda and Dooku
- The Police Squad opening
- The FCC song
- Peter not "getting into" Meg's first grade play.
- A whole hour of "Side Boobs"
- "Cheeky Bastard"
- "I love to eat red carpet"

So many good bits.

This episode was super-funny, but I have to say that I actually found the terrorist blooper opening bit offensive.
There's only so much laughing I'm willing to do about Osama and terrorism, and they went way past that line for me tonight.
Of course then when it turned into a Naked Gun/Police Squad parody, it was the greatest thing ever.

Completely agree. I was about ready to FF past the Osama bit until Stewie showed up.

I actually couldn't disagree more. I thought the opening with Osama was absolutely hillarious.

Offensive, no. It just wasn't funny.

I dont see how making fun of Osama would be offending anyone unless you are a member of Al-Qaeda.

Chew 11-07-05 10:01 AM

I guess my sarcasm meter must of been out of whack last night because I have no clue as why that opening would be considered "making fun of Osama". South Park makes fun of Osama. I don't see that here.

RichC2 11-07-05 01:46 PM

It was more "making light of a serious situation" than making fun of osama. I found it funny.

The Stewie ass-kicking was really well done, and the cut into the intro was hillarious.

silentbob007 11-07-05 03:02 PM

"What the hell??!! They let Sarah Jessica Parker's face on TV, and she looks like a foot!"

Great episode ... actually, about the only one I've really liked since the show came back.
