Loved the episode. It was definitely one of my favorites of this season next to maybe the first one of the season they also reran last night. Blind Date and Herculoids killed me.

Fantastic episode. Neil's "You're bending it!" line, The Breakfast Machine, Stewie's rant. And I loved the delivery by Mila Kunis: "You can't sell your own daughter, you fat son of a bitch!"
Good stuff. |

How about Tom Tucker's son asking Meg if she was gonna go "up" on him? That one had me rolling.

I'm not going to lie down for some frat boy bastard with his damn Teva sandles and his Skoal Bandits and his Abercrombie and Fitch long sleeved open stitched crew neck henley smoking his sticky buds out of a soda can while watching his favorite downloaded Simpsons episodes every night. Yes we all love Mr. Plow! Oh, you've got the song memorized do you? So does everyone else! That is exactly the kind of idiot you see at Taco Bell at 1 in the morning, the guy that whiffed his way down the bar skank ladder... If he wants to throw hands I'll throw hands...

ha ha, i loved that, too. I was watching it with my wife and one of her friends (who have rarely watched the show). So they were asking me why his face was upside down. then when that line came up, my wife totally didn't get it. I explained it for like 5 minutes. she's not dumb, but i guess she couldn't wrap her head around the upside-down face. I also brought up one of the funniest moments in Family Guy history (to me). When Stewie and Brian are at Tom Tucker's house, and Brian says something like "All this bullying is really turning Chris' world upside-down face." Then Stewie gives him that slow look. oh man, i LOVED that. I basically said "aw, you had to see it" when explaining it. anyone have that .gif file that was floating around? and thanks for the rant, josh. |

ha ha, i didn't know that. I was just watching mine later that night on tivo, and i didn't record the second one.

 Brian hanging outside the bowling alley like "Dazed and Confused" was classic. The puke scene and Kramer Vs Predator were great too. One reference I didn't get was when Lois was interviewing the big blob guy and he couldn't "speak english" i'm like what the heck was that from?
Edit: Read the earlier post and looks like that show with the big blob is "Herculoids." That's a little bit before my time. |
I loved Stewie's surprised glee when he found out that Kirk Cameron was playing Jean Valjean in the broadway production of Les Misérables.

I don't know about a feud but if you watch both shows, they have been taking subtles shots at each other.
'Simpsons'-'Family Guy' fued escalates NEW YORK (AP) - The Simpsons took a shot at fellow Fox cartoon Family Guy. So that series' creator is taking a shot right back. Seth MacFarlane said an episode of The Simpsons where a Homer Simpson clone was identified as Family Guy dad Peter Griffin was "definitely a slam." But since the Family Guy team dishes out plenty of its own insults, it should be able to take some, MacFarlane told Blender magazine. "To me, Peter is much more similar to Ralph Kramden than he is to Homer, right down to his voice," he said, referring to the character from The Honeymooners. "That's what I see. But because The Simpsons and Family Guy are really the only two shows of their kind of television, there'll be comparisons made." MacFarlane said he was definitely influenced by The Simpsons. "I mean, in its prime, it was one of the greatest comedy shows of all time," he said. "But it's not the show it was. It can't be. You can't do 16 seasons and be consistent." |

This is the best episode I've ever seen. Although, I prefer the new season more than the older ones.
Stewie was absolutely classic. |
A video of Stewie's rant:

Family Guy - 7/17
Okay so far.. Not enough Peter and a good 'ol "Simpsons did it" plot
|
The "Take On Me" parody was one of the greatest FG moments ever.

it was great... and quagmire(sp) needs to have at least 1 spinoff episode |
The "Take On Me" part as well as Jackie Chan were the best parts. Stewie's giant diaper and the little Quagmire "sitcom" were good too. Not a very original plot, but good for the standard FG laughs.

The Take on me video is on the Family Guy website.

Am I the only dog owner that laughed at Brian trying to stand up in the laundry van?
