http://www.deadline.com/2013/05/crim...not-come-back/ Here we go again with more contract issues with this show. :( Thomas Gibson, Joe Mantegna, A.J. Cook, Kirsten Vangsness, Shemar Moore all have expiring contracts after this current season. The show has not been renewed yet. According to this story, Gibson and Mantegna are negotiating and are the closest to re-signing. Cook and Vangsness rejected CBS's contract offer. They may not return. You absolutely need Garcia back. JJ actually improved when they gave her more stuff to do. Moore isn't close to a new deal yet. The only people signed for next season are Gubler and Tripplehorn. Honestly, I hate Tripplehorn's character. Bad replacement for Paget Brewster. |
Re: Criminal Minds -- Season 8 -- Wednesdays (CBS)
Why the fuck does CBS continue to fuck with this show? it's ridiculous. I still watch, but I'm usually a few weeks behind. I hope the entire cast comes back. Their replacements over the years (Tripplehorn and Rachel Nichols) have been horrible.

I like this show but I'd rather see it die a quick death than the slow 'lose a character here and there' death it's gone thru for the past few years.

Agreed. Also, I can't explain it, but this episode looked cheap to me - this show is definitely in decline.

Re: Criminal Minds -- 2 Hour Finale -- "Brothers Hotchner/The Replicator" -- 5/22/13
IDK, I thought it was alright and it's never wrong casting Mark Hamill as a villain. However, I do wish they built up The Replicator during the season more than just a sideshow in other episodes.

Criminal Minds (CBS) -- Series Thread
http://www.asset1.net/tv/pictures/sh...eason-10-1.jpg
CRIMINAL MINDS revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again. The Behavioral Analysis Unit's most experienced agent is David Rossi, a founding member of the BAU who returns to help the team solve new cases. The team is lead by Special Agent Aaron Hotchner, a strong profiler who is able to gain people's trust and unlock their secrets. Other members Special Agent Derek Morgan, an expert on obsessional crimes; Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid, a classically misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as his intellectual IQ is high; Jennifer "J.J." Jareau, the team's confident unit liaison who was called to a top Pentagon job but returns to the BAU under mysterious circumstances; and Penelope Garcia, a computer wizard who helps research the cases. Each member brings his or her own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators' motivations and identify their emotional triggers in the attempt to stop them. Thread for anyone who wants to post about Criminal Minds. Post away!! |

re: Criminal Minds (Moving to Paramount +)
Bump,
For anyone who is caught up with Criminal Minds, tonight is episode #200 Paget Brewster (Prentiss) is returning tonight. I've been behind all season, but got caught up 2 days ago. The last episode that aired, JJ got kidnapped. I'm slowly warming up to Alex Blake. The episode that resonated with me was the one where she went home to see her father and brother. |

Episode #100 was when Hotch's wife was murdered. That was back in season 5. That was a hell of an episode. |
re: Criminal Minds (Moving to Paramount +)
Episode #200 was pretty entertaining.
A.J. Cook was great in the episode. Kicked ass and she handled the torture scenes really well. It was also really cool that they used this episode to fill in the missing timeline when JJ went to work for the State Department. I enjoyed all the backstory. Really great to see Prentiss again. She was pretty badass in that last sequence. Minor nitpick, but that gunfight at the end was a little ridiculous. The BAU was fighting heavily armed military men with only pistols and they somehow managed to take them all out. |

also a fan of paget brewster, and she must have access to dana dalaney's reverse aging benjamin button drugs. she looks better now than when she was on Huff, which is saying something. there also comes a moment in every young man's life when he realizes one of her juggs is bigger than a grown man's head, and his life is never the same. |
