I'm going to give it a shot because it's coming tomorrow, but it's going to have to be amazing to drop Head Cases, which I have really taken a liking to. Lost and E-Ring are untouchables at this point.

Of all the shows that are new, this intrigues me the most. Makes me mad they cancelled Dead Like Me. I'll watch just about anything with Mandy Patinkin.

I'll give this show one more chance, and then only because of Mandy Patinkin. But quite frankly, I'm incredibly sick of crime dramas, and this show is just barely average in my opinion. Barring a sensational episode next week, I don't foresee A. Watching this show or B. It lasting up against Lost.

I liked the episode especially the ending.
This show has promise and I'll continue watching it.
Was the pregnant wife of the Thomas Gibson's character, the girl from Dawson's Creek? I think she played Pacey's friend/girlfriend that had mental health issues during the first few seasons.
Too bad is moving to its original timeslot of Wednesday at 9:00 pm. I already have season pass for Lost and Veronica Mars at that time. I'll check to see if I can record this show during timeshifting.

BLAH. I gave it a shot but I don't think I ever would want to see it again (and with its timeslot I never will). This was just another generic "special unit" crime/police show with nothing interesting going for it.

Watching it I thought it was nothing special. My girlfriend and I were sitting there saying well if they do something really interesting at the very end maybe we will chekc it out next week... literally right after the words came out of my mouth the ending happened. Guess I will check it out next week.
Otherwise this is the type of show to pick up on DVD and just marathon. Interesting enough to watch, but not interesting enough to wait week after week for it. And the timeslot sucks for it.

I have a strong dislike of Mandy Patinkin, so I was thinking that I would pass (the reviews have not been great either), but I'll check out the first episode anyway. From talking to a few people, they weren't that impressed with it.

I think they had him green screen on that first walk up, then they cut away and back to filming at the location.. Pretty neat effect..
other then that we just got nothing but overkill on the profile stuff.. Sure, CSI has a TON of BS too but at least it's interesting BS with strange out there set ups and so on. Sure we know lab work is not really done with 12+ plasma screen all over but it's still interesting.. Criminal Minds had someone glance at a "Go" game board and say "Oh he is extreme aggressor".. Yaaaaaaaaawwwwwnnnnnnnnnn.... Lets guess his pass word!? Yawwwn.. etc etc..
would not really care if I saw another ep or not.. The Inside was better then this show and that only lasted a few eps too..

I don't really watch crime dramas because ... well ... I figured they would strike me like this show did ... as a mediocre TV show trying to capture Silence of the Lambs with no on-screen violence or swearing. Mandy is the only reason I'd keep watching this show, just to see if he calls anyone "peanut" ....

ok, I just got done watching this and now I'm wondering something - does anyone think that if Millennium had come out recently instead of way back when that it might have lasted longer?

15 years ago, Silence of the Lambs was a R-rated thriller, now, you see the same kind of story on episodic TV with much of violence intact, have we come a long way or not?
Having a genius on-board gives the writers such a short cut to get from plot nugget A to plot turn B. If they over-use the genius, it'll get too cutesy for me.
Mandy was good, Shemar was too casual, Thomas was staid and boring, but his TV wife shows that there is life after Dawson's Creek (Meredith Monroe), Lola's character might have come across a little too strident and over-anxious.
Wasn't the stutterer Lukas Haas (the boy from "Witness")?
