Will Walt have to buy lottery tickets every couple of days? He can't have an old lottery ticket pinned up like that, can he? Not that someone will look at the old lottery ticket and immediately think of GPS coordinates, but won't it look odd to have an expired lottery ticket hanging around?

I'm anticipating an Aha moment with someone staring at that lottery ticket.

You want a character on the show to be whisked away into a comic book by the singer of a Norwegian synth pop band? I don't think any of us expected that!

This was a curious scene to me. Saul's guys gave a look to each other. When you add that to their conversation (about Mexico) at the storage place and specifically pointing out to Walt that the money was open on the top so he could see it in the containers, it made me suspicious. I think the two of them could have moved most of the money somewhere else (maybe another storage space) and filled the bottom of the containers with heavy stuff like blocks of wood. Walt barely looked through the barrels before he closed them, then buried 'em. If he had to move the money again or get to it for some reason and found this out, maybe that's why he got the gun.

I think Walt just checked to see that the barrels didn't just have money on the top with nothing underneath - he wanted to make sure he wasn't getting screwed over big time. I'm sure he was estimating that it was all there (for the most part) and that when he said "close enough" it was just his way of saying that he knew they took some money for themselves and that he really doesn't care - which is why the guys just looked at each other basically saying "cool... he's ok with it).

Walt has a monster ego, but he never really came off as greedy during the series - even when he had plenty of opportunities to be.

Yeah plus he started off trying to make $750,000 and now he has what $10 million?

That's what I thought. Or more like, "Fuck, he wouldn't have minded had we taken a little." Their conversation at the storage unit about how he had all the guys in prison killed tells me they were too scared to take a single bill.

That's how I took it too. I don't think they would be dumb enough to mess with Walt as they know if anything is missing and he finds out he wouldn't have issues with them being taken out.

The Lottery ticket; What's stopping Walt from buying a new lotto ticket each week with the same numbers? That's what I assume he'll do .

he was pretty greedy when Mike wanted to pay off his crew from not talking. Walt didn't want to split the cost even though they would all be at risk if the crew in prison started to talk. He wanted Mike to pay out of his share.

People are overthinking this. It's not unreasonable to have an old lottery ticket around.

Yeah. I've got cards from dentist appointments from like three years ago on my fridge. Which reminds me, I need to clean off my fridge.

Or a multiple-drawing ticket. I only make it to a state with a lottery every few months, so I buy my tickets for 10 weeks a pop. But you can buy them for longer.

If he looks at the lottery ticket every day it'll make sure he memorizes the numbers. He won't need it after a week.
