I guess we will be having to see the disclaimer for the rest of the season, at least until Aaryn is gone. Glad they are switching up the MVP, it was getting boring seeing Elyssa with it every single week.

Now that she was no longer the oppressed one, and others are getting at the very least good edits, I was thinking someone else would have gotten MVP this week (though certainly not Aryan or her allies).

Re: Big Brother 15
Two new alliances were formally agreed upon this week...
The Knockouts
Helen, Elissa, McCrae, Amanda, Judd, Andy
Of course the Knockouts is just a cover for this alliance...
The Goof Troop
McCrae, Amanda, Judd, Andy
I guess the new MVP is just Grodner's way of making sure that Aaryn gets nominated. I haven't looked at any live feed reports since the live show, but I don't think Judd would have put her up. My guess that the people in most danger from Judd are Howard and GM (she blames him alone for Nick's eviction and he knows it).
Also, don't be misled by Judd's edit (or lack thereof). He's a superfan. He knows the game really well. Also, the bear shirt belongs to him not Helen or McCrae. I'm sure we'll somebody else wearing it next week.

I agree about the MVP. I think Big Brother either wants Aaryn out of there, or wants her to crumble upon realizing she's portrayed as the villain and America hates her--either way it's a win for them.
I don't know why they don't show Judd on screen ever. I almost forget he's part of the house. I have a feeling he's going to go a long way though based on what you're seeing.

Re: Big Brother 15
Elissa had been complaining for awhile that they don't let her be a part of the decision process. This week they did, and she ratted out her alliance almost immediately. These people (Judd/Helen/McCrae/Amanda/Andy) are the ONLY reason she is still in the house, and she flipped on them right away. Don't think it went unnoticed.
The person that came out of that meeting scathed was Elissa, not Aaryn. The Howard DR saying maybe they should get rid of Aaryn was especially amusing b/c he had absolutely no say whatsoever. In spite of his fully involved edit, the game is happening around Howard.
Jessie slid up a spot. Aaryn now thinks she's in with the group so expect her to do their bidding (whether it's Spencer, Howard or Elissa).
It's odd that they showed Judd make that fake alliance, but we've never seen anything from the alliance that's really controlling the house.
I didn't follow it much, but it was apparently a weird paranoid weekend (MVP twist) with people in the knockout group nearly turning on each other. Amanda is wearing thin with some people.

Elissa will be going home this week unless something unexpected happens. I missed Wednesday's show, but read she gave up the right to play in the POV next week. Yes Elyssa came out looking worse than Aaryn in that fight last night.

Well, that and they showed the teasing of Amanda, which all but guarantees that her popularity with casual fans will take a nosedive.
So why did Elissa get the second most votes last week? Was it just that people voting didn't understand the change, or was there something else going on?
What was Aaryn's deal with Helen and her group, and why did they think she would go through with it if she won HoH?

Re: Big Brother 15
Casual voters and pro Elissa/Brenchel people mostly voted for Aaryn. Anti Brenchel/Elissa/production interference people all voted for Elissa. With Aaryn as HOH this week, if the pro people don't rally behind one nominee (GM?) then she might go up again this week.
Aaryn promised to do what Helen and Elissa wanted (which is really what Amanda and the Goof Troop want, but Helen doesn't really know that). Amanda worked on strengthening her relationship with Aaryn this week just in case. We won't find out if it worked until Sunday.

Re: Big Brother 15
Well, I believe the people who think this show is more than just a bit manipulated. I've always thought they tinkered in ways they shouldn't have, but I now believe it goes beyond that. It certainly does appear that "production" and Grodner want to see Amanda win...or give her the best possible chance she can.
I hated defending Elissa, but she didn't really flip on her alliance. She's just not very good at this game and she hates Aaryn so much that she can't even seem to control herself. Typically, when someone speaks behind the backs of their alliance, it's to try and get some kind of personal gain in the game.
Elissa didn't "really" want to hurt Helen or anyone else, she just wanted, no matter how stupid of a move it was to the people she's playing with, to get Aaryn out for personal reasons. That, in doing so, she was technically screwing over people who she's teamed up with (not that ANY of them would have been loyal to her other than Helen) just isn't something Elissa can process.
Seems like something passed on genetically in that family of hers.
I do think it's funny that the house (especially Aaryn), because of the events of Aaryn being nominated last week and being HOH this week, have no idea just how hated Aaryn is. Kaitlin definitely looked like she went into damage control mode immediately with Julie last night when informed of the mean girls label. She didn't do a particularly good job of it either, although when she has more time (probably already has by now), she'll probably try and come up with better excuses for why she did the things that she did and said the things that she said. That she was in there with "catty" girls isn't going to be good enough unless she wants to embrace the villain role like Natalie. That she's hot as hell and wasn't as bad as Aaryn and Jeremy nor as downright stupid and annoying as GM probably helps her somewhat as well.
I am still a big fan of Jeff and Jordan. I follow them both on Twitter and it does appear likely that the two will marry at some point. That said, Jeff's segment was boring and a total waste of time. As silly as it might sound to us, the houseguests are the ones who should have had the interaction with Jeff or Jordan. Let them come back to host the HOH and/or visit for a few minutes. They would be overjoyed to see him, in a weird way admittedly, but it makes for good tv and it's actually kind of fun to see the houseguests treat an ex-player like they're meeting Brad Pitt of the President. Having Jeff analyze the game was ridiculous.

I think this'll be Elissa's week to go and the MVP will probably go back into the house after that. My guess is that the producers are making America MVP right now because they want Aaryn out, and they know America will put her on the block. What they haven't counted on is for the houseguests to make different decisions. And then this week for Aaryn to win HoH. I'm sure they hate that. She's around another two weeks for sure...maybe more.

Re: Big Brother 15
The Helen mastermind edit continues to amuse me. Most of the plans that Helen "runs" are Goof Troop plans that they execute through Helen. Aaryn was never really Judd's target last week. In order to make sure Kaitlin left, Judd made up a lie about overhearing Kaitlin wanting to target Helen next. He told Helen this, and it pretty much sealed Kaitlin's fate. Of course, Kaitlin actually did say that at one point, but Judd didn't overhear it. Meanwhile, Amanda worked on getting closer to Aaryn to make sure she felt comfortable.
People who are in couple themselves shouldn't make the arguement about needing to break up the couple. Howard is the fulcrum to two couples (Howard-Spencer; Howard-Candice). Taking him out is a good move.
The food competition - the night before the comp Judd joked that he wanted to make sure that GM and Candice were on the same team b/c he thought them being on slop together would be comedy for the house. Mission accomplished, though I don't think he wanted to be on that team too.

I think she would have a strong shot at winning if she made f2. Aside from Elissa a lot of the house has no pun intended "whitewashed" her racist behaivor and kind of blamed everything on Candice. If someone from the majority alliance took her to f2 they would have to betray a lot of allies and possibly throw away jury votes to do so.

It was comical listening to Kaitlin's exit interviews, where she basically blamed Aaryn for bringing out the worst in her. Usually it's Grodner and her flunkies alone that I wouldn't trust, but you gotta believe CBS doesn't want her to win this show either.
I can't even imagine how Julie Chen, wife of the President of CBS, would react to an Aaryn victory. Here's your big fake check, a bowl of rice and some chop sticks to celebrate with?
There really isn't anyone that deserving of America's favorite houseguest either. I guess it would have to be Judd...but only by default. Helen shouting everything in the DR is killing me slowly. It's not her fault that CBS is giving her a fake edit and she's not the first person to think they're calling the shots when they're not, but she really doesn't need to YELL all the time.

Re: Big Brother 15
I am sure if Aaryn somehow made the f2 they would try and push people in the other direction and rig the vote more then they ever have but these people are kind of developing a group being held hostage mentality against Production the way the nerd herd did in bb6. Like if it was an Aaryn/Judd Aaryn/Amanda Aaryn/Helen f2 the jurors might think any negative thing they are trying to question them about Aaryn is just Production trying to sway thing's for their pet and it will only embolden them to go against Producers wishes. You have that now where Howard gets called to the DR alot and everyone is aware Production loves him and all it does is make the cast build him up as some huge threat he is not. They even believe Candice campaigning for him was part of his top secret plan of his to make her a target.

Re: Big Brother 15
Howard is a REALLY good guy, which I think will be of great benefit to him on the outside, but he sucked at this game. He never even really made it close. No matter how stupid this group is to allow Amanda to stay, and so easily, if Howard had game he would have been able to at least make a really good case for getting Amanda out and, at least, make her really sweat.
I liked Spencer telling Amanda to shut up. He's clearly said some seriously awful things too, but Amanda's head is so big. I hate people who seem to think they're entitled to everything and that's Amanda in a nutshell. Why can't you tell a woman to shut up? That's hardly an ungentlemanly thing to do in BB, especially when you're doing it to this biggest bully and loud mouth in the house.

I agree. From what we're seeing, it seems this is another year where there's power in the house and those on the periphery don't have enough sense to join together and flip it. This seemed about their last chance.

Even people who on the surface who seem like mush brains(Jessie,Gina Marie) see there is a pecking order in the house and want to switch things up but a combo of this really awful mvp twist /people not notcing Andy is the rat up Amanda's ass is making things almost super easy for those in power to just glide through.
