Note there's a single couch in place of the two nomination chairs. Chen has hinted that it deals with the twist.

I thought I'd heard that they were getting a completely new house this year. But it's the same one, just re-decorated like every year. This doesn't give me high hopes that this year will (finally) be in HD.

I used to watch this reality show until it became patently obvious the producers were manipulating every situation to keep favorites around longer.

LOL well, so much for all the rumors. No Survivor or Am Race contestants, no one older than their 30s...

And about four of the guys say they want to build a 4-man alliance. If they all get together, that should be easy...

I can't believe this finally starts tonight. This ridiculous show helps me get through the worst of the summer and it's only a bonus that MTV is also starting a new challenge in a few weeks as well.

Too bad about no Sho BBAD. It was never very good and always on too damned late for me, but it was just a nice thing to have for those times when I was bored or the rare occasions when something actually happened that was worth watching before the regular show edited the crap out of it. Or just to spend an hour watching hot girls take a bath together!

Wow Dolphin, if you hadn't mentioned this started tonight, I would've totally missed it. I'm so used to this show starting in July (last year it was July 12th) that I might've missed at least the first week entirely.

This is the one show that every year I think, "I'm not going to waste my time on that. It's hours of my life every week and it's completely bottom-feeder entertainment."

Then the summer hits and nothing's on and it's so stinking fun. And I'm in again LOL!

P.S. Larry C--I completely agree about the promos. It's like they spent all their money on decorating the new house and decided to just hire someone with a Sony Movie Maker trial version to throw the promos together LOL!

Again sucks this will never be in HD, yet they put all the money into the new set outside the house. It will take me awhile to get everyones names, but Mcrae kind of put a target on his back winning the first HOH, the blonde from Staten Island is already annoying. The MVP twist sounds very cool.

Maybe, but based on the highly edited hour that we saw he probably didn't have a choice. He would have been an easy nomination for just about anybody else. By winning, he's gives himself a shot at forming an alliance.

GinaMarie will be this years annoying Rachael and Jessie is full of herself and NOT the beautiful one she thinks she is.
Spencer seems like a cool dude but I think we will see is a complete dick.
