I just finished watching all 8 seasons over a 2 month period and I have to say it's a pretty fuckin' ridiculous TV series; especially if you marathon 4 or 5 episodes at a time. I haven't watched any of it since their original run so I basically forgot most of it; especially the Taken and Olympus Has Fallen storylines it had. Overall, I really thought it was a fun ride but watching one after the other makes it hella crazy. No way anyone can get into so much shit in a 24 hour period. Watching one episode a week didn't make it feel that way the first time it aired. Glad it's coming back. Looking forward to next summer.

No doubt. 24 was big for FOX when it was on...but in some ways it has grown even bigger. There's no series with the constant adrenaline 24 had on network television. And Jack Bauer has since become a pop culture icon. I look forward to it!

I wonder if I should wait and marathon the whole thing once it's complete, or watch week to week.

I enjoy the week-to-week viewing, since the cliffhangers are more effective that way.

Its probably unlikely since they start filming in January. But Fox should consider getting some kind of promo or trailer ready for the Super Bowl, since they have it in 2014.

This with some tagline (probably the usual "Jack is Back") would be cool enough for me...

It's nice to have all the stated producers, but what I'm most looking for are good writers. That's the linchpin for me. I'm pretty confident the directing, acting, etc. will be good.

Not every 24 fan likes her, but I'm glad to see her back. As I said earlier in this thread, I wonder if they will address her arrest from the season 8 DVD/BD. Or if that will just be blown off since it never aired on TV.

I know it can't really happen, but I'd love to see David Palmer come back somehow. Not fully alive of course but maybe via some found Presidential tapes that are unearthed by Jack or others within the government or something.

Confirmed today by the President of FOX, 24: Live Another Day will take place outside of the U.S.

I'm getting more and more excited for this each passing day. Haven't done fan mail for a few years, but I'm restarting it (thanks to the revival of this show). Of course, my collection focuses on 24 autographs.

This will probably never happen but it would be awesome to have the story set during Operation: Nightfall. That way they can bring back David Palmer and other past characters. The info s1 and s3 gave would make an action packed miniseries.

They have already said the new season will take place several years after season 8. A prequel will never happen.

If they do a second miniseries, I'd like a Renee Walker prequel.
