Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

Challenge! Dru is the correct answer and her being the correct answer invalidates Spike as the coolest by association!

I hope one of you finds out that your whole existence has been a lie, that your brain was implanted with fake memories in order to trick you into having certain feelings and behaviors, that your only purpose for existing was to be a not-so-adequate hiding place for an object, and, in a world full of awesome powers and abilities, you'd be given exactly none of them despite being surrounded by them all the time. I would get to sit back and call you 'annoying' while you can ponder the injustices surrounding your life.

Spike is sired by the second most annoying character (Drusilla), and sires the most annoying character (Harmony). I guess annoyingness skips a generation.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

I should have used my slam dunks on Spike as the coolest too, but at least the last question propelled me up to the middle of the pack.

Congrats and thanks to Supermallet for a great game! This one was a lot of fun and brought back a lot of memories.

I don't recall thinking that Drusilla was annoying.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks again to everyone for putting up with my slow pace. I doubt I'll be a frequent sheepmaster, but I've played so many games that I had to give it a shot. And I knew I could make Buffy sheep fun.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

Thanks for running this, Supermallet. I'd be in if there was a second Buffyverse game.

She was annoying long before she knew any of that.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

But yes, I'll run another Buffy sheep eventually. It would help if people submitted questions to me, though. So anytime you might think of a good one, PM me.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

Thanks Supermallet. This was my first sheep game. I gotta remember to not think in terms of right or wrong on sheep questions. That screwed me up a few times.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

Yeah, I used to do that a lot, too. I'm still waiting for a sheep game where everyone blatantly disregards the limitations of the question (i.e. everyone choosing Once More With Feeling for the musical question even though I say another property).

Meanwhile, weren't Buffy and Angel all shot on film? I'd love to see Blu-ray releases of both of them.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

Supermallet,

I think you did a fine job, especially for it being your first game as master. Obviously I don't know much about it, but I know that the game ran (at least somewhat) smoothly, and more importantly (at least to me), the game was enjoyable with an exciting and humorous flavor. I commend you on procuring dawn as a guest... Her addition was invaluable.

You have my sincerest of praises for a job well done.

I would too. I wonder if that will happen.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

Thank you! I sincerely appreciate it.

Getting Dawn was definitely lucky. I did a dry run of the game with Drusilla and she ate everyone by the end of question six. Gruesome.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

Looks like Buffy and Angel are Fox properties. I know they're currently planning a big X-Files releases. Perhaps if that does well we could see Buffy get released on Blu.

Re: Buffy The Sheep Slayer

Good job super though I still think my "wrong" answers were correct and unique. Loved the creativity in how you ran. I am proud to have been so sucktastic at Buffy sheep

Next time I'll put a disclaimer that all answers are within the context of the Buffyverse and trick answers will be counted as wrong.
