BTW, I have safe deposit box and I always am left alone with it and there are certainly no video cameras. Privacy is part of the deal. (But I don't have 10 and they are not filled with cash.)

I'm pretty sure each banking institution can run their safety deposit program however they want. Privacy is probably usually a factor in it, but how much privacy probably varies. I have a friend who remembered going as a child with his grandfather to the bank to check out the stuff in his box and there were other people inside the same room going through their own boxes.
This lawyer seemed to afford certain priveleges by befriending the teller. She unlocked all his deposit boxes at once and left him alone in the vault, which I would guess is not common practice at any banking institution. Most branch managers are probably more than happy to assist law enforcement in anyway they can as long as it does not directly invade their customer's privacy. Gomez and his guys were granted access to the vault, but not the lawyer's specific safety deposit boxes. Getting seen with that amount of money, at the bank where his clients all had deposit boxes, and then being brought in for questioning was probably enough to scare him shitless even though they really didn't have anything on him. Gomez commented on how easily and quickly he flipped. It all seemed plausible to me.

What was with the look Jesse and Skylark gave each other? I wonder if they'll form a plan to take walt down? He sees how scared she is of him.

I also noticed the look between Jesse and Skylar. Not sure if they'll join forces but that look clearly confirmed to both of them that they were both scared of Walt.

She despises Jesse. That's all that was.

Such a good episode. It really is going to suck when this show is gone and it's dwindling down fast. Walt's whole system is really starting to fall apart around him. I don't think Todd can be trusted like Jesse and may eventually try and betray him once he gets Walt's formula for the cook down.
Jesse knows Walt is out for himself now and is a selfish bastard who doesn't care who gets hurt or who has to be killed if they get in his way, with both the boy that was killed and him not showing much real emotion over it and the way that he treats Skylar. It was pretty obvious like a bunch of others have said in here that once Walt opened the bag in Mike's trunk and saw the gun there that Mike was getting offed.
It also seemed a bit obvious to me that something was going to go down with that lawyer who was filling the safety deposit boxes with the cash for the nine guys. I kind of figured when Gomez and crew busted him that he'd crack and start naming names.
Great acting from both Cranston and Banks in their final scenes together. Mike was a cool character and will be missed for sure. It was kind of too bad that he left his granddaughter alone in the park, I really wasn't sure that he would do that.

Does no one think that Walt might have shot Mike because he was worried he'd "flip" if he was caught? That would actually take down the "empire". It seems kind of weak that the reason Walt murdered someone was because his little feelings were hurt due to disrespect.
Mike's yapping in Walt's face might have influenced things, but I thought the "flipping" possibility was the main motivation for Walt's actions.

I think Walt's remorse at killing Mike at the end contradicts your theory, but it is a good observation nonetheless.

Cranston did a tremendous job in the final scene. He was switching between different emotions and responses so naturally and effectively that I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. You could see the anger and resentment turn to rage and vengeance, only to be replaced with shock and panic, and finally with what appeared to be a real sense of sadness and regret.

I really thought that Hank was going to see Walt "removing" something w/out letting on to Walt what he saw him do.

Assuming Walt went from Saul's office to Mike's car to get the bag, and then straight to Mike himself, what initial plans did Walt make to kill Mike? That's why I don't think Walt set out to silence him. I think Walt was just planning on handing over the bag to Mike, hopefully get the names of the 9, and then part ways. Walt just happened to come across the gun which he ended up using when Mike slighted him.

There's a difference between being questioned and getting arrested. Mike knew what the cops were coming for this time, that's why he was running. Doesn't matter if he would flip, all that matters was the cops wanted him and he could bring down the organization if the cops found the right leverage. Walt knew he was going to kill Mike before showing up, he already took the gun out of the suitcase. He didn't do it right away because he respects Mike and wanted the names. Later on by the lake he thinks of how he could've gotten the info outside of Mike, but I don't think Mike was leaving alive no matter what.

That's pretty much been the big question of the entire series, when and how does Hank find out and what does he do about it. I'm starting to think that the "new Walt" is fully capable of taking Hank out of the picture without any remorse if need be.
