Derry Girls S2
Still Game S9 - The final season. I'll really miss this one when it's done.
White Gold S2
Fleabag S2

are now being broadcast.

Re: General UK TV Show chatter.

That's a good question. It's odd, with Derry Girls, since it's touted as a 'Netflix Original,' when it clearly wasn't.

They picked it up from Hat Trick Productions. If it was truly a Netflix Original, I would've expected it to be released in a batch.

As for Fleabag, the first series still isn't on Netflix (is it on Hulu?), so no guess, there.

Fleabag Series 2 is currently airing on BBC1. I'm two episodes in and it's glorious.

Anyone have an idea how long will it take to -- or if it will at all -- show up on Amazon? (where I watched S1)

Yes Fleabag so good. After Catastrophe it has been my 2nd fave comedy of the last few years.

Line of Duty is excellent this season again,

Re: General UK TV Show chatter.

Series 5 of Line Of Duty is brilliant.
Other shows I've also been enjoying - Dead Pixels, Taskmaster (new one just started), Not Going Out, Back To Life (brilliant and dark), Home, Ghosts.

Also check out "What We Do In The Shadows". It's on FX but it's primarily a British cast. Very funny IMO.

Re: General UK TV Show chatter.

A little more Matt Berry related info, as he confirms he still plans to bring Steven Toast back for a fourth series:

Berry is planning a fourth series of Toast of London. He’s just not sure when he’ll have time to write it. For three and a half months a year, he’s now contracted to live and work in the US, filming What We Do In the Shadows, the comedy horror series about four vampires rooming together in New York.

Why play Toast again? “Because he’s the anti-me. I wrote him because I met so many actors who are utterly vicious about other actors – always frustrated, bitter and cynical. I’m not. I’m doing all the things I ever wanted. More than I ever imagined. I never dreamed of being a comedian. I never imagined I’d be a clown. There aren’t enough hours in the day. But otherwise I’m living the life I wanted.”

What about doing voices for ads? Surely they’ve made you rich but not creatively fulfilled? He laughs. “I’m amazed I still get the work.” Why? “I thought I’d satirised the job into oblivion as Toast. But that only made them want me more. Weird.”

Re: General UK TV Show chatter.

Anyone check out Curfew? I finally got around to watching it this week and it was really good for the most part. There's an outbreak that causes people to become monsters that are active at night so a curfew is created. The show revolves around an illegal race taking place one night and uses flashbacks to tell the story of the virus and characters. Billy Zane is tremendous in it.

I want to like it, for the virus part, but the race just ruins it for me. I may, however, follow my internal rule and watch the second episode, just in case...

I guess this is the only place it is mentioned, but Derry Girls Season 2 is up on Netflix.

Re: General UK TV Show chatter.

IFC is airing Toast of London at the moment. Two episodes per week. Berry appears to be having a blast playing that character.
