When I heard about Cranston doing this series I figured he'd be a good fit, but man he has knocked it out of the ball park time and time again.
It has done wonders for his movie career too, he's basically in every movie I see anymore

So I guess Sunday's episode can go two ways. Walt is going to start dealing with the guys in Germany (and replace Gus). Or the guys from Germany are going to come over to kill him.
If anyone cares, Cranston was on Conan the other night.

The magnet-from-afar thing is, admittedly, a little unlikely.
But even if the data wasn't scrambled to total unrecoverablility by the magnet, the impact of the laptop flying and hitting the wall would conceivably do damage also (probably the head would damage the platters). Between the two I imagine you could screw up a HDD enough not to be easily recoverable. You'd surely at least damage SOME of the data enough to be not retrievable. If they got lucky it would be the video file / files of the lab (one small hunk of data on the HDD). I doubt Gus archived all of the video of every minute of the lab.
I would say the magnet being powerful enough for that being powered by a couple of dozen car batteries though was a bit of a stretch also, though.
Then again, notice doubt from his partners on the show about it working. So it's not like even they think it's a sure thing.

The other thing that kind of bothered me about the whole laptop thing is that Gus was a 'very careful' person, and it seems kind of careless to keep any incriminating evidence around.

Well, for all we know, he had the risky files very heavily encrypted, and the whole magnet fiasco wasn't really needed.

I'm still trying to figure out why some of you people are giving SkyLARR a free pass here. "Walt is a dick for forgiving her" (the awkward scene). Sky got Ted into that situation all by herself. She bought into what Walt was doing and went along with it at that point.
Her hands are just as dirty. Why does some want to absolve her?

Did any of you catch Aaron Paul on Leno the other night?
They showed him as a contestant on the 'The Price Is Right' IRL when he was younger. It was funny stuff, some very 'Jesse' stuff. He lost the Showcase Showdown by like $150 by going over.

LOL! I convinced a friend to watch BB, and right now he's in the phase where everybody, almost everybody, hated Skylar. He's like "she's a whore" and stuff.

We should be able to guess where the episode "Famous Potatoes" will take place!

especially on a show that normally over prices everything
