That video/photos is old. It was posted here last season. Not that there is anything wrong with seeing them again.

I liked the promo, though it definitely made me sad that Community did not come back on the real Oct 19th. I loved the line about Annie's Boobs. I wonder if they wrote that line before or after Animal Practice got cancelled?

Re: Community - Season 4 discussion

I see NBC getting rid of Harmon has done nothing to change Chase's attitude.

It's called acting, people!
Chevy Chase caught some major flack for using the "N-word" on the set of NBC show "Community" Friday, but the outspoken actor has since apologized for his verbal outburst, insisting that his rant was not directed at any of his African-American cast members.
Chase, 69, reportedly used the offensive word to air his frustrations about his character's increasingly bigoted views.
According to TMZ, the actor was unhappy with the kind of dialogue he was being presented with, and angrily suggested that he might be next told to call Donald Glover's character Troy or Yvette Nicole Brown's character Shirley the "N-word."
TV Line reports that production of the show was briefly halted before Chase apologized for his outburst.
The former "Saturday Night Live" comedian also "apologized immediately" to his "Community" costars.
Chase made headlines earlier this year for his hot-headed spats with show creator Dan Harmon.
In April, Chase called Harmon "fat" and "an alcoholic" in a leaked voicemail after the showrunner roasted the actor for walking off the set during the filming of some crucial scenes.
"I don't get talked to like that by anyone. Certainly not in front of my wife and daughter you goddamn a--," Chase ranted in the voicemail. "I've got nothing to say to you, except you can s--k my c--k. Is that clear?"
Harmon was later dismissed from the show.
"Community" was originally set to premiere last Friday, Oct. 19, but NBC has since rescheduled its premiere for an undetermined date.

I don't see an issue here. That's actually sort of a legitimate use of the N-word - I mean, he's not calling anyone that, but he's concerned over his character's growing racism as to that might be the next step.

Yeah, I sort of agree, too. Stupid to be throwing it out there like he did, but the context makes sense.

So it's replacing 30 Rock when they finish their season and getting it's old timeslot back.

If they run 13 straight new episodes with no repeats, the season will conclude the 1st week of May.

Re: Community - Season 4 discussion

Community creator Dan Harmon is back on the air with a new series, this time on Adult Swim. The network has given a series order to Rick & Morty, a half-hour animated comedy from Harmon and Justin Roiland.

The show, which will premiere in 2014, follows a genius inventor grandfather and his less-than-genius grandson, and the journeys in life they share. Rick & Morty was originally picked up to pilot in May when it was announced at Adult Swim’s upfront.

In addition to Rick & Morty, Harmon has two live-action comedy projects in development at CBS and Fox.

Jesus, in this day and age, they're really doing that with a show that has such a cult following as Community? Every episode will be all over the net 3 weeks before it airs in the U.S.

Re: Community - Season 4 discussion

Are they purposely trying to kill this show? Airing it in Canada three weeks ahead of time? This negates any viewers that would've been added due to netflix/hulu.

Is this really a question? I'm clueless as to why they didn't just cancel it.

The only source for saying the Canadian premiere was Jan 11 (that other sources drew from) was City TV, and they now say no date has been set.

Yeah, they're both way hot and give me boners, but Gillian gives me an extra boner.

Glad that it's coming back at all, but sad it's so late. Pretty much guarantees no back 8 order now.

About the only chance the show has now is that more comedies on NBC bomb between now and next May. But honestly, I'm not holding out any hope. I hope these 13 episodes are an appropriate sendoff for our gang at Greendale.

Re: Community - Season 4 discussion

This may be considered a spoiler (not really) as it regards a change to the cast happening in season 4:
Spoiler:
Chevy Chase is leaving the show. Sounds like he won't be in 1-2 episodes of season 4's current episode order and any future seasons (yeah, right!).
