I think they realize they're going to have holes to fill when some of this stuff gets cancelled. Hopefully Community will benefit from a different time slot but it's pretty clear this will be the last season.

Well I guess the bright side is that if they fill a canceled show with Community - then they are less likely to pull Community - because what are they going to replace it with?
I think this is the last season, but who knows - if they give it a good time slot on a new day, and the writing is still on point it could get some momentum

It won't get a full season pickup now. If they wait until 2013 to start it, which most likely means January/February, the show will have already finished production. Clever move NBC, you sons of bitches.

It was bad enough that they shortened the season and pushed the premiere to late October. At this point I wish Comedy Central, or even better, FX would just come in and buy the rights to the show since NBC clearly could care less about it.
I can't imagine anyone's salaries being too crazy for this other than Chase, and IMO, Pierce is the most expendable of all of them.

Whitney is taking the place of Animal Practice in November (which got canceled this week)
if they axe another show there is a chance Community is going to be the filler.
I agree Comedy Central should pick up this show.

NBC tried to buy the rights so they could later decide to not air it.
