If you're a featured player during your first year, before taxes and after twenty episodes, you can net $100-110,000. That number doesn't include the bonus you get for writing a sketch that makes it to air.
It's not a bad gig for someone who's usually starting their career. You get exposure on network television and ample free time during the season and summer break to shoot film roles and other roles in television shows.

He's popping up everywhere...Mad Men, SNL, 30-Rock, Todd Margaret, plus he's doing plenty of small roles in movies (e.g. Bridesmaids, The Town).

I wonder who's going to get the female lead now that Wiig is gone: Abby Elliot or Nasim Pedrad?
Abby has the most seniority, but Nasim seems to get the most face time. Vanessa Bayer is a good utility actor, but she's still a featured player, though I expect her to be upgraded next season.

I like Abby and Nasim so either is fine. I feel Kate is going to injure me every time I see her.
