I'm still curious as to whether Dany has superpowers. They never really extrapolated the whole stood in fire overnight thing.
This was foreshadowed in several places.

In the first episode, when she gets into the hot bath while the servant girl warns her not to.

When Drogo pours molten gold over Viserys head, she comments that he is no dragon.

In another episode she picks up something that is hot (was it the dragon eggs? can't recall) and it doesn't burn her, but burns her slave's hands.

So that is a pretty good indication that fire can't harm her and she can't be burned.

How does being fireproof help her out in her current quandry?

Viserys was not immune to hot wax as well.

But the viewer doesn't know if she's just impervious to fire or not. She could be impervious to death for all we know. And she never seems interested in finding out how or what her powers would enable her to do.

Are you suggesting that she should be throwing herself off buildings, slitting her throat, or drowning herself to see if she's immortal?

She has stated many times that she has the blood of dragons flowing through her, dragons are fire made flesh, and fire cannot harm her...I think she's cool with that.

We know her family who were also Targaryen got salughtered during the Rebellion. Her brother Rhaegor was a Dragon just as she is and he was Killed by Robert Baratheon. Fireproof yes, but immortal, all evidence points to no.

[spoyler]Arya's wolf is disguised as Tywin. Expect a tearful reunion in episode 9 that quickly turns sour when it's revealed that the real Tywin is disguised as Arya.[/spoiler]

I miss old school Heroes. Wish that were still on.

Also, since everything means something on this show, when Tywin was telling Arya about his castle being vulnerable to dragons... I'm assuming that was more than just a history lesson but foreshadowing, right? Also, how many seasons do we have to endure baby dragons before we can see some real live action Skyrim?

Did Tywin talk about his castle or the castle they are currently in that was ruined centuries ago by dragons?
