Spoiler:
A wet slip-n-slide challenge with a mostly female cast? I'm in!!! I'll just have to look away when Tarzan is up

No poll, but if there was one I'd say Troyzan (I know ... way to go out on a limb). He's made it so the women have no choice to vote him out as soon as they can. And it's not like he's some physical immunity monster, like Ozzy or Tom. I'd just as soon get the Troyzan vote-off out of the way, so we can (hopefully) get to the more interesting part (of the women's alliance feeding on its own). Though knowing this season, even that'll probably go the boring route of some order of Christina, Alicia, and Tarzan getting voted out (with them all acting all shocked and upset at the "blindside" anyone with half a brain would've seen coming).

I want Troyzan to go. I typically like the underdog, but he's grown unlikable to me and, while they've been in power for a long time, there are truly several of the women that I still like and wouldn't mind seeing with the million dollar prize.

But all the screen time Troyzan has gotten makes me think he goes deeper. Survivor has been lazy about kind of tipping their hand about what to likely expect. Hope that I'm wrong, though.

For the first time in a long time, I'm not that stoked about this season anymore.

It's too telegraphed that it's painful to watch.

I couldn't really care less who wins.

That's sad.

There's always next season.

The men lost me the minute they went to tribal council when they didn't need to. After that decision, I couldn't pull for any of them.

Please make next week's episode a double elimination so they can get this season over with. The quicker the better.

This is heading towards my least favorite season, even in the truly awful seasons I've had players I liked... Not a single player to root for this season.

I wouldn't say I was rooting for Troyzan (at least not since the men stupidly went to tribal for no reason and the fact that he almost single handedly handed the game to the women), but I was rooting for an interesting season. With him gone, there is no hope of that any more. I'll still muddle through the rest of the season, but this has to easily be the worst final seven ever.

This show needs a real shake up... how about next season we get Survivor: South Central.

I hope they have a final three of Christina, Kat, and Tarzan.

I quit the season 2 weeks ago, just sick of these predictable seasons where nobody has the guts to make a move on the ringleader and instead just play for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.

Maybe they did already (?), but I'd like to see what would happen if the winner got $1 million, and nobody else won anything. I'd have to imagine people would play much more interesting games in that case.

I think they need to cut back and only have Survivor on once a year. There isn't enough time between seasons to really miss the show and look forward to a new adventure. I've seen every episode of every season and I'm not as excitied about the show like I used to be.

Alicia makes me sick. As long as she doesn't win, I'll be ok.

Wow. Does Kat really think she's running the show or something? Kat, don't worry. You won't be remembered as a weak Survivor player. Dumb, worthless, naive? Maybe, but I wouldn't worry about weak.

Alicia, the wonderful special ed teacher, once again leads her profession by comparing Kat to one of her students. Alicia strikes me as a bully, and I hate to think of how she acts in the classroom. I think she is in for a rude awakening when she shows up for work...

Regarding special education... some special needs students are actually smarter than their instructors and just learn in a different way or are bored silly in a regular classroom setting and choose to do nothing when not challenged.

That's not true at all. I was totally rooting for the pig in tonight's episode--it had more personality and intelligence than the rest of the cast combined.

I'd watch a show of nothing but Kat, Chelsea and Christina lubed up in oil sliding around...wait...just did.

I thought Alicia was talking about Christina during that exchange.

Christina could very well be the dumbest Survivor contestant ever.

Still rooting for Sabrina. She's been the most even-keeled of the group and seems really likable. (Plus she's my pick in the DVDTalk game.) Although if she doesn't make a move soon, she's destined to finish fourth behind Chelsea, Kat and Kim.

Re: Survivor: One World -- "Never Say Die" -- 4/25/12

In the secret scene at the end of Dalton Ross' recap we got a little more on Kat's "thinking". She firmly believes that she is in the tightest with Kim and isn't worried at all about Kim's relationship with Chelsea b/c she doesn't think they would take each other to the end.

My guess at this point is that there are three women out there who think they're in a final 3 alliance with Kim and Chelsea. Two of them are in for a surprise. I don't really know what Christina is thinking (probably not much).

You're right, it was Christina..

My point was that she said she would treat Christina like one of her students.. with the implication being that she doesn't have much sense.. thereby, implying that her students don't have much sense... not something any educator with concern for her students (and her job!) would want to joke about on national tv.

Re: Survivor: One World -- "Never Say Die" -- 4/25/12

Kim is really close to tying this thing up. There is still an outside chance that Sabrina could lead a coup, but tonight's episode convinced me she's really not that bold. Plus, in order for her to do that successfully she would have to flip three other people - not such an easy task with this passive group of morons. Kim will never let Tarzan get to the end, so she doesn't have to sweat him pulling off a Chris Daughtery. And anyone she goes up against in the end will be just as culpable in the ousting of all the jury members as she is (without getting the same credit for immunity performance, smart strategizing, and overall game domination). Honestly, the show just seems like a foregone conclusion at this point, right down to the order of elimination.

Re: Survivor: One World -- "Never Say Die" -- 4/25/12

Kim must have hoodwinked me too because I thought Sabrina was much higher in the pecking order, like almost Chelsea-esque. I was hoping she'd select Kat for the reward since that seemed the way to deflect the biggest hurt feelings, but then Sabrina was trying to console Kat by explaining that Kim didn't pick the people who were closest to her, so she's hoodwinked if she really believed it.

At least the challenge was more interesting than most of them have been. And the one with the voodoo dolls in the fire burned to their skeletons was an interesting twist.
