HaHa - Exactly what my wife said.
I think Troyzan was stupid, too. I know before he "acted" like he found the idol, but after he lost that immunity challenge last night, he should've sucked it up and started looking for it 24/7 again. He should've known that's the ONLY thing that could've saved him...

I can't figure out how dumb Kat actually is. She comes off as a moron but at least she is trying to think about the game. She know it exists.

He was trying to sway Kat for several days. We even saw him trying last week. I think when someone refuses to talk to you, tells you to shut up, and walks away, you must know things are not going your way.
Even if Kat had flipped, Troyzan would have still gone home. If her vote was supposed to be one of the Christina votes, then Troyzan would still be voted out 4-3-1. If she was meant to be a Troyzan vote and switched, all she would do is cause a tie (3-3-2). They would revote and those two votes for Christina would turn into votes for Troyzan. He's gone either way.
Troyzan played it as best as he possibly could in his situation.

The people he's dealing with are too stubborn and spineless to make logical appeals to - better to just play to their irrational natures and pick some fights instead. I would have sent Christina to "confess" to Sabrina that real plan was to send her home since Kim sees her as a threat; and that her picking Alicia for the reward was an attempt by Kim to take an ally away from Sabrina so she couldn't fight back. Sitting them down and explaining how making a move against Kim is in their own best interests just isn't going to work with these dolts. Inciting their paranoia and jealousy and setting them all against one another is the better way to go.

I quit the season 2 weeks ago, just sick of these predictable seasons where nobody has the guts to make a move on the ringleader and instead just play for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th.
Maybe they did already (?), but I'd like to see what would happen if the winner got $1 million, and nobody else won anything. I'd have to imagine people would play much more interesting games in that case.

And every time I see Alicia on screen, I always think of Quest For Fire.
She would fit in well with this tribe.

Other than her personality, the thing most annoying about Alicia is that god-awful bikini top. I hate shit like that on an attractive woman, on her it's just gag inducing.

I finally caught up on all the episodes this week. Had somehow managed to remain spoiler-free.
Anyway, I planned to come on here and talk about how, even though the producers are pulling out all the stops to make Kat look like the dumbest contestant ever (and don't get me wrong, she is super dumb), Cristina is the one that should be taking home that title. At least Kat is playing. Cristina can't see obvious things directly in front of her face. She can barely form a sentence.
Then I was happy that other people have observed the same thing.
And yes, God, thank you for the oil challenge!
