Now this is what I'm talking about. I was a bit worried after the first few episodes after the break, but this is what we need. I loved the style, plus for the last few years I was wondering....these days we have books that publish the private letters of people from the past. Will they publish/distribute emails in the future? So I'm glad that this documentary addressed that in a hilarious way.

Agreed. Finally a good episode after the hiatus. After the god awful impersonator episode, and last weeks waste of John Goodman, finally we get an episode that shows why we love community.

Sorry, but it was right out of Ken Burns' "The Civil War," which predates "Band of Brothers" by more than a year.

This was a great premise and it had some funny bits, but I wanted to like it way more than I actually did.
I, too, noticed that they've used the word "dick" three straight episodes now, which cracked me up.
Britta being a horrible photographer was probably my favorite bit of the episode.
The line that got the biggest laugh out of me (and I'm paraphrasing) was the Dean near the beginning saying in a very exasperated tone "Doesn't anyone at this school go to class?!"

I'll give them credit, this was a very unique episode. But overall, I didn't find it that funny and it was just alright for me.
I did love Keith David's narration. He was great narrating the update to Ken Burns Baseball documentary series.
at Jeff asking him, "Hey weren't you in The Cape?"
For those here who never heard of The Cape, it was a failed midseason superhero drama last season on NBC. Keith David was a lead.
