Synopsis:

Spoiler:
What started as a casual disagreement about blankets and pillows blossoms into all-our war on the Greendale campus. While insults are hurled and the study group chooses sides, Jeff (Joel McHale) tries desperately to negotiate a truce, but with neither Abed (Danny Pudi) nor Troy (Donald Glover) budging on their principles or their real estate, the future looks grim for the former best friends. (Part 2 of 2). Chevy Chase, Gillian Jacobs, Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash also star.

Episode 14 of 22

Just noticed something. I looked at Community's tentative schedule for the remainder of this season and unless they plan to double up a few weeks, 2 episodes might not air this season. They only have it scheduled up to episode 20, which airs May 17th.

That was just terrible. Probably the worst episode of the series.

I liked the war idea, hated the documentary style. Would have been much better without that stuff.

Eh, I liked it. The Keith David narration stuff was pretty amusing. I guess you would had to have watched as many Ken Burns docs as I have to appreciate it. I expect the joke will be missed by some.

Loved it - very creative way to tell the story. Lots of fun with the style (panning up from Annie's boobs, the subtitles, etc.)

And Britta's pics

I thought the episode was a little uneven, but really, really liked it. Some of the bits were hilarious.

Loved the dramatic readings of texts and Facebook statuses. I mean, seriously...what are our documentaries going to do 100 years from now .

I loved it. Seriously might be in my top 5 eps ever of the show.

It's not the best of the series, but I really liked just about everything about this episode. I love that this is the only show that would try this.

I enjoyed it. Not a lot of laugh out loud moments but it was a really cute episode and it was clever how they mixed old war story tropes with the modern age. It's episodes like these that really set Community apart from other comedies, having a great idea for an episode and really committing to it rather than half-assing it into a normal episode.

Loved it. But I love Ken Burns stuff, so I guess I'm biased.

Fantastic Work! I'm a history teacher and will show this to my class.

Any chance Chevy was actually in the pillow man suit?

One of my favorite episodes of the series... Funny from start to finish.

Now this is the Community magic I love. As SpanishTechno said, not a whole lot of LOLs, but this was creative, weird, funny and just a blast. (Not surprised to see mixed reactions, though).

I think my favorite scene was Nurse Annie removing the feathers from people and then carrying them away in a bowl like they were bloodied bandages.

Yeah..this episode was just as creative as the paintball eps IMO. Loved what they did.

Awesome episode. Best one since the return.

I doubt it. I thought to myself that it was probably a way for him to not be on set the whole time. It was like that last season during the My Dinner with Andre episode where Chevy's stand-in was in the gimp costume.

Brilliant. What really brought it home for me was that Keith David just did the narration for the excellent WWE Rock Vs. Cena documentary.

Community is the closest thing to a live action animated show on TV (not including the times they've actually used animation). It's just amazing what they can get away with on this show and still manage to make it work.

I love how they tied in the threads from previous episodes, like Chang's teenage army.

Ski Shoot Sing...C'mon NBC Sports Network, it's up to you now! Best fake show since Bitch Hunter on 30 Rock.

I absolutely loved it. Had a huge grin on my face from beginning to end. Wasn't the biggest fan of last week's episode, but it paved the way for this one, and I'm thankful for that.

This is why Community exists. It takes chances, and this thread is evidence of that. There's nobody saying "It was adequate" (except for MortalPlage... kinda)

Comparing it to Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas. They both had their targets for the parody and they both faithfully recreated what they were going for. The Christmas episode did mock claymation specials, but all in all, not the greatest. However, with this episode, the plotline was extremely entertaining. They could have done it in normal style and had a good episode. Doing it in this style really elevated it.

Amazing. Right up there with Modern Warfare and D&D for me. Loved every minute.

This episode is what makes Community "Community". I so appreciate that they take risks to tell their story instead of the normal sitcom set up. It is one of the most intelligent written comedies on tv. Love the subtleties in the dialog. I am amazed what they come up with and I hope they stay on the air and continue their creativeness.
