I was just going to say that these expectations people have are completely wrong. I was invited to the club but only went once in Denver, early 70s. Little Anthony and the Imperials played the room and we were waited on by bunnies in the bunny costume. Asy you say, there was no nudity and touching would get you bounced in a heartbeat.

Oh, I know. It's like that in most of the world. I know you're not a prude, but most of America sure seems to be. The network tv content restrictions are ridiculous.

It should be pointed out that the creators of The Playboy Club made a big deal of having all the actresses sign nudity clauses, and they heavily implied that there would be more nudity and sex in the international and DVD versions. So it's not like those expectations were completely unfounded.

Really? Someone greenlit a show called "H8r"? Please tell me that was not a real show.

The CW died for me when they cancelled 'Reaper'

Re: CANCELLED Shows - Post them as it happens

I thought that the purpose of this thread was for people to post information about canceled shows. Out of 60+ replies, I think 3 shows have been mentioned.

I think Parks and Rec is one of the funniest shows on television. Unfortunately, no one is watching as it gets less than 5 million viewers and about a 2 in the demos. This is NBC and they are 4th on Thursday and almost 4th every night save Football on Sunday. They don't have a top 20 rated show except for Football. Univision sometimes beat NBC in the ratings.
Without Football and the Olympics, NBC is in deep trouble. NBC use to dominate Thursday night.

Re: CANCELLED Shows - Post them as it happens

By my estimates NBC hasn't "dominated" Thursdays for at least 10 years before Survivor and CSI. They held their own with Friends and ER, but Friends has been off the air for seven or eight years and ER for three.

I can't believe they canceled Defenders. The only show with Jim I ever liked.

Re: CANCELLED Shows - Post them as it happens

The following show I just learned have been officially cancelled.

The Famous Teddy Z
Johnny Bago
Eerie, Indiana
Homeboys In Outer Space
Townies
and The Paul Reiser Show.

Big news. I read it in the Hollywood Reporter.

What's the confusion? They speak Austrian in Austria and Australian in Australia.

Oh, man, I remember Johnny Bago, even watched an episode of it.

Eerie, Indiana is the one from that list that I like. It was lots of fun.
