 at how Gordon had zero patience with the chefs in this episode. I'm not a fan of Carrie and her constant bickering with Elise is getting so old, but throwing her out for 1 burnt fish was ridiculous. It seems to me the producers are loving this drama between them and are keeping them around for that alone and not because they are "fighting" to stay in it.

Elise's behavior has been so unprofessional, especially when she was deliberately ignoring Carrie in the kitchen during a busy service.

Paul to Gordon: "Is it raw chef?" after handing him the undercooked chicken. Again, that was ridiculous that Gordon threw him out for that. Especially considering how much raw product has almost left the kitchen this season.

You know I actually don't mind Gordon going against the suggestions and choosing himself who to get rid of. It's his reputation on the line on who he eventually thinks deserves the job at the BLT Steak.

Jamie should have been thrown out for the hair. So it didn't bother me that Gordon got rid of her.

I just think Carrie is defending herself. It's Elise's constantly picking away at Carrie and Elise won't shut up no matter what you say. I can understand Carrie feeling she needs to defend herself and not show fear.

I can't believe Tommy didn't get the axe when Gordon said he was picking who had to leave. The guy fucked up NON-STOP during service.

I thought we'd finally see either Elise or Carrie leave, but no...

I like that when the women win challenges you can always count on the bra and panties shots while they are getting ready for the reward.

 Definitely rewound that moment a couple of times. Also when Tommy walks back in to the kitchen and Ramsay is cooking his scallops.

Yeah I know, you get all excited to see Jennifer in her 6 eye-hook bra and granny panties... ;)

^

Now strictly speaking, I didn't say excited, but like - as in I like how I look all smart and stuff when I shout "Cue the bra and panties montage!" and it comes right on.

Uh oh guys, get your phones ready to call 911. Tonight is a 2 hour episode! I'm not sure my heart can handle all the shocking and tear jerking moments this show provides...

I just saw Cliff from Top Chef Season 2 is working at BLT Steak. Somehow I can't see him taking orders from any of these HK stiffs.

He's the Executive Chef. Apparently the "head chef" job that the winner gets doesn't really exist, and they basically just get a job as a line cook.

Awesome 2 hours. I can't believe how piss poor both kitchens performed in both hours.

 to Carrie finally getting the boot in the 1st hour.

 at Tommy after Gordon ripped up his tickets. And then James telling him to pick it up!

 at the blind tasting taste. Of course it would all come down to 1 point like it does in every challenge.

Loved hour 2 when Elizabeth got flustered and Elise tried to throw Tommy under the bus. at Gordon throwing them both out of the kitchen. It's looking more and more like Jennifer will be one of the finalists.

How the fuck has Tommy made it this far? The guy is a brain dead idiot.

Gordon to Tommy: "Onion Rings, More like Onion Worms." I loved when Chef Scott was screaming at him to put them on the paper towels and he wouldn't listen.

It's amazing to see how badly Natalie has tanked in the last few weeks. Plus, I think she screwed herself getting practically all her fish dishes returned tonight. I think she lost confidence in herself and Gordon could see it. And that's why she got voted out over Elise.

Re: Hell's Kitchen -- The 9th season Thread -- Premieres 7/18/11 on FOX

Thing is about James, he was yelling at Tommy to pick up the torn tickets while they were still in the air. This smells of a setup and James, twice, delivered his lines too quickly.

Why was Natalie on fish twice in a row. If she couldn't cook fish the 1st time she shouldn't have been there again?

I've never seen the question answered if Gordon looks over the filming, esp. when he's not present to see what goes on behind the scenes.

Finally Carrie is gone. Suprised that Natalie is gone and Tommy is still there. I think it's gonna come down to Will and Jennifer.

Oh yea, regardless of what a bitch Elise is, she looked real good during the horseback riding part!

Elise :hump:

Looks like Will and Jennifer will be the final two. They're the only ones who don't seem like total fuckups. This seabass is RAWR!

I would like Jennifer a little more if she didn't look like an out of shape tackle in the NFL.

I agree with that. Paul will probably be third. I just don't understand how Tommy keeps living from week to week. Natalie was actually the first person to leave that I felt sorry for. She had some potential. Also, I think they should have split up Carrie and Elise before they booted one of them. Or heck, would have loved for Gordon to be all like, you know what...both of you give me your jacket. The reaction would be priceless.

Re: Hell's Kitchen -- The 9th season Thread -- Premieres 7/18/11 on FOX

I agree about Natalie. She has alot of potential and I could easily see her running a kitchen some day. Her lack of experience/maturity hurt her, especially in the 2nd hour with the fish problem and her saying that she had no idea what she was doing wrong.

She started out good, but she's had 3 or 4 bad services in a row and multiple times she turned in raw food.

Its funny, people always wonder why the winners never get the actual positions that are actually promoted during the season.

But honestly, would you want any of these chefs running a kitchen after watching how they constantly screw things up while claiming to have so much professional experience?

Even if a lot of this is probably staged.

Yeah, if you didn't know better, watching HK you'd think all kitchens were nothing but chaos, screaming, and RAW!!! food, so it was funny to see when Ramsay threw Elizabeth and Elise out that it was smooth sailing with he, Andi, and Jennifer finishing up dinner service.

I don't remember seeing Ramsay cook during service until this season, and now he's done it twice.

Finally! Carrie is gone. Between her and Elise, I'm glad he chose her because that dumb bitch just CAN NOT stop and listen for two seconds.

I thought Natalie would be a frontrunner, but she quickly proved she can't hack it.

I will be shocked if Tommy doesn't go next week. That guy is a creepy marionette puppet.

And Elise can listen? Elise is way worse than Carrie as far as attitude goes. I'm still of the thought that Gordon should have tossed both of them at the same time. It would have said so much.

But I fully expect Tommy to make it next week. Not cause he deserves it but they keep finding other people to get rid of. Theoretically, he could make it to the last 4 before it would be an automatic. Elizabeth and Elise weeks are both numbered just as badly as Tommy's. The only automatics at this point is Will and Jennifer. Even Paul (though he has been consistent lately) could have a really bad week and be tossed.

Oh, no, Elise can't listen for shit either. But her cooking was better than Carrie's, and I knew they'd be keeping Elise around for the drama factor. She'll be gone soon.

Elise should have been kicked for lying about Tommy slicing the beef wellington. At least Carrie could shut up and walk away while Elise would rattle off. Elise is rather sickening in every way, I couldn't do her with a roll of duct tape and a paper bag. Besides I'd probably still need a butt plug to keep that end from talking like her mouth.

And what's wrong with a creepy marionette puppet serving a romantic dinner?
