 Fantastic episode. Lots of great clashes in it.

 at Chef Andi getting into it with Elise. Loved when she told her to STFU.

rotfl Love Chef Scott. Loved that he was going off incessantly on Monterray for that stupid fish falling apart.

Chef Scott: "Fuck You"

Monterray: "Fuck You too!"

 I was dying at how many times Gordon said..."It's Raw! Raw!!" Chino was the right choice based on tonight and what a disaster his dishes were. I did like seeing Elise crying like a little baby when she thought her time was up.

So far, the 2 most competent Chefs appear to be Will and Natalie. I can easily see them make it to at least the final 5.

Holy cow, they pulled off the hat trick: raw lamb, raw sea bass, and (my favorite) raw chicken!

 loved Monterrey and Elise getting into it with the chefs.

 Natalie has an Emily Rose thing going on. Like her less attractive sister.

I always thought Scott and Andi need to have a bigger role in who leaves. It is nice that they seem to have a bigger part this season and not just in the background but give them more control either by meeting with their team to help steer who leaves or going over the evening with Gordon as he can't see everything.
I'd also like to see more of what they do between services. Do they do nothing or do they mentor the wannabe cooks or are they scheming with Gordon on what's coming up next? I just want more elements brought into the mix and not the same formula they've always had.

Oh, and Chef Andi's facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Chef-A...400757?sk=wall

Will does seem to be a cut above the rest. He actually was a cheftestant on an episode of Chopped.

One thing I've noticed so far this season is the lack of chain smoking from most of the contestants. I think I've only seen a few of the contestants on camera smoke.

Chef Andi is apparently a big wig in Gordon Ramsay's empire:

Van Willigan, has worked with Chef Gordon Ramsay as Sous Chef for the past three seasons on HELL'S KITCHEN and the upcoming season of KITCHEN NIGHTMARES. As Sous Chef, she keeps the teams and restaurants on task and performing up to Gordon Ramsay's unrelenting standards. Additionally, she is currently the Corporate Executive U.S. Chef for Gordon Ramsay Holdings and oversees all of his new U.S. and Canadian projects.

My favorite part was Elise telling Ramsay to call for a vote between her and Carrie, only to have everyone be one vote against her.

I loved that even during the blue team's walkthrough, Chino was still screwing up and couldn't get his pretend dishes done in time.

Chino's inability to even pretend to be a competent cook was the funniest thing ever. He's the type of guy who gets rejected by girls in his own sex fantasies.

You're eliminating the possibility that it's an homage to Beethoven's Fur Elise?

Yes. Yes I am.

That Beethoven dude totally wrote that song about her because she's so awesome. I feel sorry for her kid(s).

Don't forget. Another shocking episode of Hell's Kitchen tonight.

Looks like a doozy as usual.

Were back to "shocking" already? No more "tear-jerking" episodes? Darn..

I thought about skipping this season for being more of the same (plus the incessant hype of "most shocking episode" gets so old) but all the arguing has me hooked. I hope the women just stop service to beat Elise to death. And I was  at both sous chefs freaking out during the last episode.

 Scott and Andi are awesome. Love when the show gives them some camera time outside of Gordon.

The worst Sous Chef this show ever had with some older hispanic lady named Gloria. I think she only lasted 1 season.

im embarrassed to have gone to the same high school as Elise, she is so annoying and needs to GET OUT!

Re: Hell's Kitchen -- The 9th season Thread -- Premieres 7/18/11 on FOX

 at Elise saying her "Pissivity" level is at an all-time high.

Elise is just awful. I don't know how anyone could work with her in a kitchen. It was so blatant that she didn't even want to look at Carrie's dish for the 1st challenge because of her hate for her. I loved how Gordon rubbed it into their faces that Elizabeth's dish sucked and Carrie's was actually the best.

 Loved what a fucking train wreck Krupa was tonight. Mixing up the veal and fillet mignon and then bringing out soupy rissoto and "Raw!!" lobster spaghetti. She dodged a bullet.

Of course Gordon takes matters into his own hands and votes out Gina.

 This season has been top notch trash entertainment so far.

Who the hell is this "Paul" guy? Did he sneak onto the set or something? We're 5 episodes into the season and I don't remember ever seeing him before.

These "chefs" are on pace to set an HK record for raw meat

Why do the challenges always come to a tie and it all comes down to one person. Something has to be fixed, cause it seems to happen every single time

 It's been like that since season 1. It's best not to over-think the show.

I'd like to see a "GET OUT!!!" compilation. Or a reel of all the names (donkey, stupid cow, etc) he has called contestants.
