I didn't realize that BLT was such a large chain restaurant. 11 BLT Steaks and 14 others.

And, with the 2 hour finale next week, they're going to have to get rid of 2 cooks in the 1st hour so the 2nd hour can be the final cook off. I saying now it comes down to Paul or Elise. Will finally screws up due to something Elise does and he loses it. Tommy, well he's Tommy.

As to the format, I'm probably one of the few that misses the hour show of them designing their restaurant and the competition to determing the draw with the final after that.

That was awesome when Will and Paul chose Elise over Jenn.

Jenn to Paul: "You better hope I fucking go home."

Paul: "I guess she doesn't like me anymore."

Yeah it's unbelievable that Elise has literally been up for elimination the last several episodes, but her obnoxiousness does make great TV.

As far as cooking goes, Elise should have gone home because of how much salmon she fucking wasted.

And really guys? Hell's Kitchen a serious cooking competition? You should have known that was never the case since say season 2. It's trash TV disguised as a reality competition.

I'm hoping for a Will and Paul final 2.

She has been nominated (and not eliminated) 5 of the last 6 episodes, and 7 of the last 11 - and two of those her team won and she was immune. So she has "got back in line" 7 of the last 9 episodes she was eligible.

The only other contestant to ever approach that:

Oh forgot to mention, did anyone notice the hot chef at Water Grill restaurant was Amanda from Top Chef Washington DC?

 She was a favorite of mine.

Quite a few tie-ins to Top Chef this season(Cliff is the Executive Chef at BLT, a Fabio sighting, Amanda). It would be great if Gordon would guest judge on an episode of Top Chef. Just don't make crab cakes.

Missed this week's episode (and thanks, Fox, for only making it available online to Dish subscribers. Thanks also to Hulu for asking me to sign up for Hulu Plus to watch one episode). Now that I know I didn't miss Elise getting the boot, I don't mind so much.

Just a reminder, I know there is alot of stuff on tonight, but it's the 2 hour season finale tonight.

I'm pulling for Will or Paul

No one watched? So many LOL moments in the finale. Gordon's very last line is hilarious.

Eh. Pretty dry ending. I would have given it to Will. Paul just seemed so boring and nondescript. Oh, wait, he's a boss. Nevermind. I'm a little surprised they didn't go the distance with Elise after letting her stick around way longer than she should have. I will give Elise props for coming through for Paul. I had feared the worst for him but she really had his back.

Will made a major mistake picking Krupa, and putting her on anything important. She was awful, as usual.

was this in the 'outtakes' at the very end? To Elise? DVR cut off. Care to recap?

He flat out told her she needs to stop acting like a bitch if she wants to really get somewhere in the industry cause he knows she can cook.

But all he verbally said was "Just stop acting like a bitch!"

The outtakes were the best part of the season. Between the bitch line & the Tommy zingers, there should be more of that in the show.

Agreed. They should show some outtakes at the end of every episode.

I loved watching Elise's face when she realized she wasn't in the final two. But I give her credit for working hard on Paul's team, even with Carrie there.

Ramsay's last line was great, as were the Tommy jokes. I love how surprised everyone was when his gf walked in.

This was a crap season, though. I don't care if they're always doing the same shit, but the contestants were so unlikeable. And no one showed great proficiency in the kitchen. Still...

Can't wait for S10!

Elise was the most loathsome contestant in all the seasons of HK. I was rooting for Will, but when they had all the clips of Paul talking about his mother, you knew he was going to win.

Totally agree. He should have yanked her sooner. But I can't imagine the pressure going into that finale. I think Will figured he had it in the bag and Paul kept at it.

Just finished all 2 hours. Overall, I thought it was a good, trashy season. It made up for for awful season 8 was.

Congrats to Paul. He definitely had the passion. Would have liked Will to win it, but he got fucked by Krupa on the fish.

 at Gordon's final line to Elise for her to "Stop being a bitch"

Anyone notice that Chef Andi always has the same facial expression everytime she's on camera. She never looks happy. At least Chef Scott smiles sometimes while being a dick.

Re: Hell's Kitchen -- The 9th season Thread -- Premieres 7/18/11 on FOX

Right now, Chef Scott needs to stop doing his "What I did something wrong?" response when he does his annual sabotage for the final two.

They know why you're doing it, just be like "Good, you caught it."
