I thought it was okay but could they not think up a longer storyline for the first episode of the season?

And no one in Denmark is named Renata
Anyway, OK start and it seems Nancy still hasn't learnt shit.

Weeds -- 7th Season Thread --
Since there's been very few posts in the individual episode threads I think a season long thread will suffice. There's clearly a lack of interest in the show now, which I understand.
Anyway I enjoyed tonight's episode (the 5th out of 12), especially with the revelation that Heylia James and (probably) Conrad are back, at least temporarily.

This season has been boring as shit so far, though. And Nancy is now one of the worst-written characters on TV.

How this show is even still getting produced is beyond me. It is so bad and barely even funny. None of the storylines are particularly interesting and they continually add and drop them, along with random characters, left and right. What was the point of Andy's cancer couple? Utter waste of time.
And they totally should have just written off Esteban's baby. No one cares!
Still, I keep watching even though I've hated this show since midway through season 3.

Yeah, this season is turning out like S3 to S6... crappy. Although I have to admit, I do like the change of locale - it gives it a fresher feel of crap at least.
It will be good to see Heylia (and hopefully Conrad), even if it is temporary.
This has to be the only series that I know where it really feels like the writer(s) haven't planned out the direction of the story/characters. It really seems like they're making things up as they go along episode after episode.

Weeds was great when it was in suburbia. Just a single mother selling weed to survive (a rich life) in suburbia.
So yeah, almost only season 1 was good.

Everything up to and including U-Turn was great. Everything since has been crap.

The storyline as a whole was going down hill quick at that point but U-Turn himself kept it entertaining, imo.

I thought this episode was pretty strong, nice to see a serious moment between Silas and Nancy. Also good to see Dean again...I suspect Conrad will be in an upcoming episode.

I see the answer now is to find a way to shoehorn everyone into the show again. Heylia screwing what's-his-name? I kept hoping Silas would hit a booby trap and lose his face.

Watching this week's episode, I've decided this show gets a lot better if you think about this season as a dramatization of Lindsey Lohan's life.
Also, the way Nancy holds her frozen latte things pisses me off.
