So if all of the baratheon children die, would that mean Gendry would be next in line?

No -- he's a bastard, so out of the line of succession. After Robert's children, the next best claimant to the throne would be Robert's brothers.

Yeah I guess I will have to do 2 threads next week. The regular episode 6 thread and the early episode 7 HBOGo thread with (Spoilers) as the title. That's going to suck though and put a damper on the actual episode 7 thread for the following week.

So Pinanta, Stay the fuck out of the HBOGo episode 7 thread next week since I know you don't watch this show through traditional means.

I know. See, I have this thing called self-control. I know when to not come into the thread after it's aired and before I've seen it.

This was a pretty sweet episode and I'm actually pretty glad that something like this was finally confirmed:

I think we should just save everybody some grief and set up a GOT sub-forum now.

Saw this little gem over on TWOP:

Arya: little bitch. Obnoxious, annoying and rude, but mostly boring. I don't understand why the series devoting so much time in her, this episode and last episodes long sword fighting lesson. I guess this is to cater to the kids who tune in.

That has to be satire, right? From the very first scene with her, you knew she was going to step up and be a right bad ass, at least with a bow.

I'll have to ask my kids what they think of her in the context of the show. But they're only 6 and 10 so they may be a little too focused on the sex and gore.

Er...your quote says "starting with the May 27 installment," which makes it sound like all the rest of them will be offered this way, but the article says only "right after the May 22 episode."

Since May 22 is a Sunday and May 27 is not, I assume the article is right and it will only be that one episode offered this way, but I just wanted to get clarification about what you said in case you read something I didn't.

Yeah I think I misread it. I guess one episode makes sense..you wouldn't want the season finale to be up on GO a week before being on HBO.

So, i'm too lazy to read this thread. What was the importance of Ned finding the blacksmith kid, apparently a bastard son of the king?

Yeah, he actually said as much to Jory after leaving the shop.

I realize what he said, but I'm wondering why it was important. I assume it'll have something to do with the book Ned got, right?
