Not looking forward to a Will Ferrel-centric episode. He's just not working here IMO. I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

Will Ferrell should have stayed in movies, this show jumped the shark, I hate it when they are out of the office,Ricky Gervais is the best boss ever......

Hopefully they solve the mystery of how Pam made it past airport security this week.

I'm assuming we'll see new opening credits tonight. I'm guessing next season will have another new set of credits.

Re: The Office -- "The Inner Circle" -- 5/05/11

Michael had a huge heart and was kinda pure in some ways, so to have the opposite person come in isn't much fun imo. I'm just worried that this episode will be too mean spirited based on Farrell's character.

I've enjoyed all the episodes since Farrell came in, but his parts have been small compared to Michael's. I'm hoping for the best, but I think the things that I haven't liked about Deangelo will be front and center tonight.

This late in the season, I think they are just going to go with The Office title card. But, we'll see.

I told myself when it was announced that Steve Carell was leaving that his last episode would be my last one to watch. I like Will and so far i'm enjoying his character so i'm interested to see where things go.

Looks like they actually did go with new opening credits. It was nice to see Rainn Wilson get the top billing. The opening credits did a nice job of showcasing the entire office; probably a good indicator that at least for now the boss will take a backseat to the rest of the cast. Since they included Will Ferrell at the tail end in his office, I wonder if some of the other temporary bosses will be included in a similar manner.

---

Deangelo suggesting he and Dwight head to the park for some sausages; then Dwight's response, "I think you want that guy," and pointing to Oscar.

I know that whole juggling routine was ridiculous, but I loved watching the various reactions from members of the office, especially Creed's gasps. Pam's impersonation of him in the break room was great as well.

---

It was great that they finally addressed Ryan not even really having a job at the office and just sort of hanging out this whole time.

I can't believe it, but this might have been the most hilarious episode of the entire season. I hope the writers didn't blow their entire load on this episode trying to show that The Office can survive without Carell and the hilariousness continues.

Outside of the end, I thought it was a really funny episode. Not that the ending was particularly bad, just kinda weird I thought

I liked this episode quite a bit. And for the first time in a while, I actually found myself really laughing at some of the stuff. For some reason, Ferrell's dunk attempt cracked me up. His gibberish at the end had me going too.

Also, the new girl is HOT.

Very hot. I thought it was funny that Deangelo/Ferrell seemed to think announcing to the office that he was hiring a girl who was hot but had no experience would prove he was not a sexist.

I lost it when Pam started juggling with no hands. Also "The Horse Flyer" was great. Anytime Pam is genuinely excited about something, I tend to enjoy the episode more.

Dwight's look when Will Ferrell ran out of the break room shouting "Yesyesyesyesyesyesyes!" was perfect.

I missed Michael. The show felt a little hollow to me.

I loved that line, it was hilarious. Interesting how they got rid of D'angelo, hopefully they'll show Jim's guilt over being sort of responsible for the injury.

I wasn't sure how to react to the end... were they playing it for laughs or were we supposed to recognize it was a serious injury?
