Fantastic episode.
Nice LOSTish touch with Josh Holloway's "Son of a bitch!" after he got shot.

Just rewatched this again last night. Still awesome.
However, I have no idea how they would "twist" the voting. I didn't transcribe the dialogue but the scene with Jeff and Annie where he called her a good kid and patted her head basically said that Annie was the one who voted to invite Pierce back. And her constant defense of Pierce until he betrayed them a final time seems to cinch it.
They were a little vague with what actually happened so I could be surprised. But it would be a twist for twist's sake if Annie wasn't the hold out. It just wasn't vague enough to earn that.

They give it away by showing the cards at the beginning, they're all black except Annie's. If they were twisting it to where Annie was the only one that wanted him gone -- that would contradict the entire season.

'Cougar Town' Stars Pop Up on 'Community' -- Will the Character Crossovers Go Both Ways?

NBC has released a picture from next week's 'Community' season finale (paintball part deux, part deux) that appears to confirm rumblings we've been hearing that a multi-network 'Community'-'Cougar Town' crossover episode is in the works. This development marks an awesome next step in the referential love-fest that's been going on between the two shows for well over a year.
What's the photo? Check out 'Cougar Town' actors Dan Byrd and Busy Philipps standing behind 'Community' actors Donald Glover, Danny Pudi and Alison Brie in the background of this picture.
Amazing, right? The two shows have been engaged in a friendly ping-pong game of mutual admiration lately, and now it's really starting to get fun.
On 'Cougar Town,' Byrd's character Travis made his girlfriend watch the 'Community' Season 1 DVD on their first date. 'Cougar Town' creator Bill Lawrence -- who worked with 'Cougar Town' executive producers Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan on 'Scrubs' -- has said he appreciates the friendly back-and-forth, and has hinted that more might be coming in.
Also this season, Abed, 'Community's' resident pop-culture expert and nerd extraordinaire, is obsessed with 'Cougar Town' and references it constantly. In 'Community's' recent 'Pulp Fiction'-'My Dinner with Andre' homage episode, he told Jeff an elaborate lie that he had been invited to make a cameo appearance on his favorite show.
But what if it wasn't a lie?
One of the most interesting questions to think about now is whether this might be a reciprocal crossover, with 'Community' actors also appearing on 'Cougar Town.' If Laurie and Travis can take a trip to Greendale, might we see Abed hanging out in the background behind Courteney Cox and co. drinking wine soon?

Would it have been racist to have Yvette Brown as the "Queen of Spades" ? Or am I racist to think that when the were doing the nicknames?
And I get the love for Annies Boobs, but Im a pit pissed that it was a TOTAL waste of Anthony Michael Hall. I want that dude coming out more.

To be honest, I never expected to see or hear about his character again, so the fact that he showed up for a glorified cameo was a nice surprise. And I think he had the funniest line of the show.
