Re: Survivor: Redemption Island -- April 6th, 2011
What I find funny is that the girls of Rob's tribe aren't remotely curious, at least by what we've been shown, as to why their tribe never received any clues to the HII, especially when one is played by the other tribe.
Wouldn't someone think, "Hey, why did the other tribe have a chance to find a HII, and we didn't? Seems a little unfair."

How would any viewers know what either Grant or the girls of Robs tribe are curious about or think about gamewise since the all the confessionals on Ometepe tribe have revolved around Rob,Phillip and previous boots.

Normally I don't chime in on this stuff but I'm getting tired of you non-believers poking fun at Christianity. I don't go around on these threads poking fun at you because your a stupid atheist. So please can we just lay off the religion bashing and stick with talking about the show....Survivor.

Matt seemed really PO'd when he got voted out again. Not afterward, but when the vote was first revealed. The return of Redemption Island makes Grant even tougher. Even if they vote him out, he has to get beaten in a duel as well then, if not, in another vote. A Matt-Grant showdown could be epic.
The Bushido speech was very funny, but I agree it probably wasn't as long as they mdae it appear. I would have really laughed, though, if it'd said "15 minutes.... 30 minutes..."

If you're gonna be anal about stuff like this then maybe you should check your own spelling when making a post.....

I'm sorry if I said "stupid atheist". I was pissed. I edited my original post.

Wow. Did you really go searching through all his posts just for that? The only reason he made that post was because you made the error while calling someone stupid.

I'm about as non-religious as a person can be and I have no problem with any of this season's focus on Matt's strong religious beliefs and that a few others clearly share his strong convictions. And I like Matt, despite very different beliefs. And Andrea too. And the blond who gave him her bible. I had no problems with any of it/them.
Yet, I find it amusing that at least one person posting here has a serious problem with those who make a few wise-cracks about all the G-d talk, yet took umbrage with Rob tonight because he's not AS religious as Matt and quite reasonably saw that any group that shared something very strong, like religion, might find a way to bond and form some kind of alliance that could be a threat to him. Rob's a liar because he's not religious enough or you don't believe him and think maybe he made up that he goes to church on Sundays just because he wanted to mock religion-the same way you see those who happen to not like all of the religious talk (or at least don't think it's ripe for making jokes about) in this thread?
Wow. Talk about having a double standard.

Excellent. Now that creekdipper and Setzer have arrived, the sermon can begin. Hopefully the mods lock this due to the idiocy now being propagated.

But nice detective work--searching through my posts in old threads until you found a typo.

I can't believe no one has brought up what I thought was the best part of hte episode. Mike trying desperately to seem like he's interested in the bible with Matt and the blonde. Like how he said it was written so beautifully or something like that. He may be very religious, but we all know that was purely trying to get on Matt's good side. And then Rob laughing in the background.
Also, Sarita finally looked her age tonight. I honestly thought she was in her 50s, then my wife told me she was 37 or something like that.

I yelled at the TV when he did that (I'd had a "few" beers). Why the heck tell Rob everything and then drag Andrea's name into it as well?

Boston Rob does it again.
at godboy being sent packing again. That was a great move between that and flushing out the idol. At first I thought it was a risky move since we weren't really sure about Andrea, but Rob must have known she was a stone-cold lock to stick with him.
And he even names the new tribe with some bullshit word and people all nod their head immediately in agreement.

They don't call him "The Robfather" for nothing. He's been playing a great game so far. But things are still a bit dicey--it will only take one person flipping to swing the balance of power.

I don't believe for a second that Rob is going to win, but as long as he's there to the end, that's fine -- just for the entertainment factor.

Poor Andrea. She's teamed up with Matt who clearly doesn't get the social part of this game. Then he tells Rob he was going to secretly oust him...and lumps Andrea into the plans! I don't think Rob sees Andrea a threat yet as she's stayed quiet, but she's having her game royally screwed over by Matt. I really like Matt, but he'll be surprised when he gets home how much Rob was playing the game and how little he himself was.
