Oh yeah, I meant to mention that one. That was a definite laugh-out-loud moment too
and how about the name of the trampoline park they wanted to go to? "I Gotta Take a Jump"

OK then, from Bob Day Afternoon
Gene: There's the channel 5 news team. You know, "We finger anything with a pulse"
Bob: It's "we have our finger on the pulse"
Gene: I'm pretty sure I said it right

I didn't quite get that, unless it was just a play on the "Don't say _______" gag they've done so many times.
Man, I could really identify with Louise on this one. This is gonna be big on the TMI, but I did not poop once in the public schools I went to.

Wow. I can honestly say I've never heard that used.
There are some old-timey ways of avoiding a profanity, but that one is excessively elaborate.

Marty, voiced by Chris Rock, sees Alex, voiced by Ben Stiller, running towards to him.
As Marty gets closer, Alex is not happy, he is angry for what happened to them.

Wait, wasn't there an earlier episode where Louise pooped in the pool? I don't expect continuity in a cartoon, but it seems she wasn't shy about public pooping before...

Continuity or no ,this episode was great. My daughter (13) has taken to watching this with me and we both enjoyed the poop and the pickle storylines. Linda trying to work the camera and all the talk about edits got me every time.

^ Oh, absolutely. I thought it was great that they made an episode about something a lot of kids probably experience. Also loved that Bob was not condescending in any way.
I think the only other time it was addressed in prime time was the classic "Chinese Restaurant" episode of Seinfeld, where George bemoaned that his girlfriend's bathroom did not afford him the privacy he was going to need.

A lot of good episodes already in the new season (with a surprisingly disappointing Halloween outing...they usually are among the best of the season). This week's episode was exceptionally strong. I swear I never notice Stephanie Beatriz until I see her name in the credits.
I loved that the "A Shrimple Plan" restaurant was not a pun, but the actual last name of the proprietor Pam Shrimple. Wouldn't surprise me if it's not even a shrimp restaurant.
And the reaction of Teddy to the fire at Bob's Burgers had me rolling.
Teddy: I came over here as soon as I heard!
Bob: Teddy, you're covered in sweat and you can barely breathe.
Teddy: I know, I ran all the way here!
Bob: From your house? That's like 3 miles
Teddy: No, from my truck. I'm parked in the alley. I'm really out of shape, Bob.

Character Designer passed away after a skydiving accident (judging from his posts, he was a damn good free flyer too)

Really enjoyed the last two episodes, even if this past weekend's seemed a little out of place (It takes place a week or so after Christmas).
I like that the Belchers finally have a little success in life, but never quite 100%. Changing the restaurant to "Urge" for Valentine's Day was successful, but in the end people just wanted hamburgers. And I love that Linda got her "perfect" holiday card with the family photo (although not totally perfect. Gene: "My weiner's out")

Apparently Jay Johnston, voice of Jimmy Pesto, is believed to have been at the US Capitol Riot on January 6

If it's not him, the dude looks a LOT like him
Apparently his comic buddies have said it was him, too, but given their style of comedy, I would not be surprised if they were all just leaning into the joke.

Snopes has an article about it, currently listed as 'Unproven'. This is certainly an interesting bit

The last few have been pretty good. I think it was the Valentine's episode when Gene had to make an emergency run to the bathroom.

This show is very hit or miss for me. My favorites are their Thanksgiving episodes.

We've been binging from the start over the past several months and we're into season 9 now. We've come to love the ones where the kids each tell a story and it's completely off the wall, and the Thanksgiving ones are always fun.
The one with the two teams of kids competing with their school plays and they ended up with Work Hard or Die Trying, Girl is one of the cleverest bits of writing I've ever seen.

Really enjoyed the last couple of episodes.
"Gene, don't say 'frigate'"
But this exchange, I don't know why, maybe it was Kristen Schaal's delivery, had me on the floor laughing hysterically.
Louise: Two beers for these two, and I'll have a Twisted Monkey
Bartender: I don't know what that is
Louise: Ginger Ale on the rocks, and you make monkey sounds when you give it to me
Bartender: I don't feel comfortable doing that.
(bartender gives them the drinks)
Louise: Ooo ooo aah aah. Wasn't so hard, was it?

Season premiere tonight, and they factored in the events of the movie. Both in the opening credits, and any shots of the front of the restaurant shows new pavement where the sinkhole had been. I haven't had the energy to go back to the previous season, but I've heard that in some episodes you can see the sidewalk and pavement starting to buckle.
But man, the episode itself was kind of a rehashing of the movie plot for the most part.
