I don't think Jax is Maureen Ashby's son, but I have little doubt that her daughter's daddy was John Teller.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but we've only ever seen what John Teller looks like one time. I believe it's a framed mugshot that was likely taken when he was young that now hangs on the SAMCRO headquarters' wall.

Who wants to bet that before this series finishes we see a scene play out that includes Jax, Clay, and a TBD famous actor playing an older, probably scarred up, long-thought-dead John Teller and includes this line of dialogue (or something close to it) from Clay: "I thought we killed you?"

I'm going to say this won't happen unless Sutter leaves the show and they hire a hack for a few seasons.

Renewed for a 4th season today

Looks like Kurt Sutter's plan for a 7-year arc is still working out.

Not surprised. With Rescue Me winding down, Sons of Anarchy is basically the anchor drama for F/X now.

Good, yet unsurprising, news.

I wonder if, when we get details of the season 4 pickup, it will be one of these massive season 4s that ends up being both season 4 and season 5. FX did that with The Shield and Nip/Tuck if memory serves.

Only as part of a dream sequence, but it would be a pretty cool dream sequence.

I read it was a 13 episode pickup, so they didn't go that route with SOA.
