They must be going up, as we speak. I found the first few complete seasons, plus several later seasons, through the iPhone Netflix App, and have already added them to my Instant Queue!

The first and second seasons have been on it for a few months already. Will internet video EVER be able to produce the proper 30fps frame rate though? Even through my TV's built-in Netflix app, material shot on video appears at a lower frame rate, making it look more film-like.

Netflix has set October 1 as the start date for a bunch of the other Universal/NBC acquisitions from this deal so it's a pretty sure bet that October 1 will be when the SNL stuff is available as well.

Somebody on one of the online SNL forums was saying they heard that the musical performances would be cut and that there would be heavy music replacement but I don't know if that's accurate.

I use this website more than the actual Netflix website (or iPhone / iPad app).

Seasons 1 - 5 have been on Netflix for months with Seasons 31 - 34 being available since Netflix rolled out HD streaming. Seasons 1 - 5 are the actual uncut episodes as present on their respective DVD releases, Seasons 31 - 34 are a complete crap shoot with the musical segments missing from most and some having most of the sketches removed (there are a few episodes from Season 31 totaling only about 30 minutes).

Netflix will most likely update their API to show what we will be getting on October 1st within 24 hours of posting (seen here: http://instantwatcher.com/upcoming_titles). There have been times where this hasn't occurred (Netflix's recent deal with Epix) and the instant streaming was just barraged with hundreds of new titles.

Well, Season 36 is now listed, Amy Poehler episode with a run time of 62 minutes. No other "new" seasons are up, maybe this is as far as the deal goes.

Just went through the show, BOTH of Katy Perry's performances are on it but the "Expendables" sketch was cut. Interesting

I think it was cut from the Hulu version as well. It's not up as an individual clip anyway.

If they indeed get every episode - rather than just selected ones - then I will no doubt sign up for Netflix again. (I haven't had a membership in about 10 years.)

Ha ha! Yes! I remember seeing that one only once. I was probably in junior high then and my high school-aged sister and her then boyfriend were watching that episode with me. I vividly remember turning to her and asking "is that the same as 'playing with yourself'?" They, of course, started laughing.

I hope we also get "The Penis Song" sketch (Matthew Broderick show). Another one of those sketches shown only once, I think.
